Everything To Guppy is a bite-sized, four-times weekly comedy/gaming podcast in which Gary Butterfield (Watch Out For Fireballs) and William Hughes (The A.V. Club) attempt to analyze every single item, boss, character, and concept in the rogue-lite video game The Binding Of Isaac. They manage to pull it off only slightly less than 50 percent of the time.
We're as surprised as you are that this turned out to be okay. But it's kinda fun! We know that Kirby's cute, but he'd also be a nightmare to live around. This 2003 cartoon presents the reality of having a Town Kirby... a pre-verbal infant cosmic monstrosity who can destroy homes on a whim. Though we disgree with his methods, we have to say it's hard to fault King Dedede for wanting him gone.

Reminder that you can read along with and ahead of the show by subscribing to Marvel Unlimited (we don't get paid for you doing that, so it's not an ad, it's just a cool service). You can also use Comixology, or buy the trades from your local comic book shop (the preferred method, if we're being honest). Be sure to check with your local library to see if they have them there! The Monarch's plan to hold the boys hostage for a ransom payment is foiled by Captain Sunshine, his sometimes nemesis. What results is a fraught half hour of television that plays with rumors, jokes, and questions about the nature of the relationship between superheroes and their boy wards. But seriously, the joke is that it isn't what you think.
Special thanks to Joshua Jarett for our cover art, Gwen May for our theme song, and Brayton Cameron for being our announcer.

An episode where, admittedly, neither of us can remember a specific aspect of the Heroes of Might and Magic universe... but it doesn't matter, because this is actually just King's Bounty! So you can't trick us with your lies.
You should be warned that we're really cranky in this one. As we head into the territory of the Shadow Worshippers, Ashen finds even more ways to turn us off to what might otherwise be its charm. We hit the Palace of Lathyrus and finish out the game, despite the game's best efforts to repel us with its dungeon design and noun soup story. If us being down on a game brings you down, you know what to do with this one.
