The Pitch

Giant Spiders: Now available in purple!

In this badboy, Kole and Gary discuss Veridian and Apexion from Immortal: Unchained.

This episode covers the last three episodes of S1, a trilogy of episodes called Darkness and Light. The Hulk and Banner are finally splitsville, but that's not as hunky dory as everyone thought it would be. That said, this episode has everything you've come to expect from the Incredible Hulk: mutant insects, weddings, Hulk-likes, weird brain trauma, and lots and lots of Rick Jones.

The one time where you don't want the plum position.

Kole, Ben, Jala, and David talk about Hbomberguy’s fantastic streaming event, Desolate, and we ask you which game you thought you’d hate, but ended up loving.

• Hbomberguy raises a tremendous amount of money for Mermaids, a youth trans rights organization.
• Amazon is getting into game streaming service (opposite Twitch).
• Lots of salt over EA’s canceled Star Wars game.
• Eximius DMCA drama, aka publishers are bad.

• What’s a game you thought you’d hate, but you actually ended up loving?

• Ben: September 1999. What Remains of Edith Finch? Don’t Starve Together.
• Kole: New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. Silent Hill: Homecoming.
• Jala: Octopath Traveler. Tiny Bird Garden. Resident Evil 2 One-Shot Demo.
• David: Desolate.

Matthew sticks around to talk about the remainder of Final Fantasy X, which includes some fantastic boss fights, neat imagery, and questionable story beats. We also touch briefly on the absurd optional content this game has to offer to the most patient among us.
