The Pitch

Two men, one RV, and a barrel of methylamine walk into a desert.

We would like to thank Gwen Static for composing our theme song, and Trent Peters for creating our great podcast art.

Nobody saw Bowser's Fury coming. What could have been just a little extra something to sweeten the pot on another port from the Wii U ended up being a fully-featured and inventive 3D Mario game. It's snack-sized and packed with new ideas, chief among them being the Fury Bowser kaiju fights. But also classic course-based Mario challenges set in an open world. We dig it, and we think you'll dig it too.

Given that Mother's Day happened recently, it makes sense that Gary, Gwen, and Kole would dedicate the bulk of this episode to ranking the best TV moms. We inadvertently reveal some gamesmanship in the rankings, and trample over each other's lists because it turns out this isn't a very competitive space!

We rank other stuff, too, and also have the obligatory show and tell.

This week's episodes: Adoption Papers, Cricket's Leg, Apollyon's Best Friend, and Whoops, We Ran Our Mouths Too Long And Didn't Have Time To Talk About The Character

Don't hear a response from yourself in this episode? Didn't write in? This could have been you!

Today's episode contains spoilers for a large amount of MCU TV Shows, including: Moon Knight, Ms Marvel, She Hulk, and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. It also contains a lot of salt about all those things, so strap in babe.

Reminder that you can read along with and ahead of the show by subscribing to Marvel Unlimited (we don't get paid for you doing that, so it's not an ad, it's just a cool service). You can also use Comixology, or buy the trades from your local comic book shop (the preferred method, if we're being honest). Be sure to check with your local library to see if they have them there!
