If the Plastic Scousers did award ceremonies they would probably be rambling, drunken shambolic affairs. And so to put that theory to the test, we thought we'd host our own 2018-19 End of Season awards ceremony!

Listen as we recount all the best and worst from a quite brilliant season for Liverpool Football Club. In what was a season of brilliant highs and oh so close near misses, there's plenty to dig our teeth into as we celebrate our Champions League success in our own unique style...

Well it's been a while since we've said this - WE HAVE A NEW PODCAST!!!

Yes as the Plastic Scousers' lives suddenly force them to take a break from podcast production, it is a relief that Liverpool Football Club had a relatively uneventful end of 2018-19 season... Ok we are really sorry, but Owen got into politics and Matt got a new job, so we're now here to make that up to you with out End of 2018-19 End of Season Spectacular!

In this extra-long episode we take a look back at the season that defined a generation of Liverpool players, detailing every match from the beginning of April through to the extraordinary run to Champions League 2019 winners. But never fear, for as well as all the games, goals and talking points in an asonishing season for LFC, we'll still have all the usual insight and irrevereance that makes the Plastic Scousers the most listened to podcast in the Simpson & Collins household!

As well as all of that lovely content, Jordan Henderson has a wee in a park, Matt tries to stand up with his hands in his pockets, and some scuba divers retrieve footballs from the North Sea...

If we were in school we'd have been expelled for turning up 40 minutes late to class with a can of White Lightning in one hand and a cigarette in the other. But since we're a podcast, we can have both of those and be late with no recompense apart from the humiliation of a March podcast review at the end of April...

Once again the Plastic Scousers are the last in line, but with that comes the wisdom and experience of age. Yes that's right, we're desperately scrabbling for excuses as to why these keep coming out so late, but it's as good as we've got. Welcome to the Plastic Scouser's review of February!

 

In this episode: Owen is interested in Virgil Van Dijk's rashes, two former players have a surprising romantic comedy film made about them, and Matt tries to get everybody sent off...

Ok ok ok we're getting stupidly late with these, but to be fair Owen got the flu and Matt broke his hand so you're lucky you're getting anything at all.

The Plastic Scousers are back once again to bring you another dose of podcast goodness on all things LFC! We discuss all the games, goals and talking points from an astonishing months for the club; one in which things start getting way more serious than we're able to deal with...

But we plow on nonetheless, and in this months podcast Owen considers the stealth capabilities of submarines, we discuss the best beard in football, and we get cooking for the LFC canteen ladies.

Getting later but sounding greater, the Plastic Scousers return just in time for Christmas with our November podcast!

We've got all the games, goals and talking points from the month as the season rolls into the depths of winter. Chuck in the usual insight and irreverence, and several tangential stops along the way, and you've got a recipe for disaster.
