Mike gave an update on the Steelers injury report and said he isn’t sold on Terrell Edmunds playing this week after being in the concussion protocol. He said we could see Cam Heyward under 100% on Sunday with a few different injuries. Chris asked about a few other injuries to Diontae Johnson and Mason Cole, but thinks they will be OK. Mike said he isn’t sure if Gunner Olszewski is done as a Steeler, but he won’t be the man returning punts on Sunday, and that Steven Sims will be the guy. Mike is pumped for chicken wings this weekend in Buffalo.

Steve said Kenny Pickett had zero “turnover-worthy” plays even though he ended up with 3 picks, saying they were all unlucky, giving him the oddest stat line this season. He said the Pickett pass to Pat Freiermuth down the seam was his best pass of the day. Steve talked about low percentage and high percentage plays and how the split is in the Steelers offense. The Steelers have one of the best offensive lines in football graded in pass blocking, but Steve gave a few reasons why they might not be THAT good, however they have overachieved. Chuks Okorafor is the highest graded linemen on the team, with Dan Moore Jr. as the best in pass pro. He said the defense is missing TJ Watt big-time in pass rush because the other players aren’t consistent enough in the rush without Watt. Kordell said he likes the awareness and recognition from Pickett from what he has seen so far. He said Kenny has the key intangibles for a successful QB. Kordell said once the bullets are flying, Kenny is more fitting for the Steelers offense.
