Rumors are running rampant at the NFL Combine this week, which is oftentimes a spot for that sort of thing. One of the big rumors is the Steelers looking into Brian Thomas Jr., who saw a decline in his second season after an electric rookie year. What would that price be and can the Steelers afford it?

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike works for NBC and the company is making some changes to their broadcast team heading into next season, including Tony Dungy being let go. In an article today, names like Mike Tomlin, Cam Heyward and Aaron Rodgers were thrown into the mix, but Mike has no bearing to say the likelihood of that happening. Mike insisted that Tomlin still has the pick of the litter when it comes to networks and will be on TV if he wants to be. What is the latest buzz Mike is hearing from the NFL Combine? Mike has his doubts that Mike McCarthy and the Steelers are in love with Will Howard the way they say. Mike said we still don’t officially know if the guaranteed money is owed to DK Metcalf following the fan incident in Detroit. Mike doesn’t think it would be wise to move on from Metcalf after one season. Mike questioned Rodgers wanting to play for McCarthy after the comments he made regarding his football IQ years ago.

The Penguins get back to it tonight in their first game without Sidney Crosby following his injury in the Olympics. They are in a playoff spot and have been one of the best stories in the NHL. But the guys have a big question – why is nobody going to the games? Is it more complex than the ticket price, concessions, travel to the game, etc. or is it really that simple?

In an ESPN article regarding big trades to be made during the NFL offseason, DK Metcalf was ranked 6th – ahead of guys like Tua Tagovailoa and Kyler Murray. The Steelers are free of a dead cap hit with Metcalf due to the incident that took place during the Lions’ game late in the season. Chris is OK with making a trade, even though it would leave them with 0 notable WRs. What if a team offers a 1st round pick? The conversation took a turn to best bands to come out of Western PA.
