We are hearing some locker room leaders speak about George Pickens. Should players like Cam Heyward and TJ Watt be more vocal about players like Pickens? KDKA TV legend Bob Pompeani joined the show. Pomp thinks fans want to see some sort of tangible discipline for George Pickens and what kind of expectations he now has for Saturday. He added that teammates shouldn’t be happy with a player doing what he did and not seeing any repercussions. Bob got into what bothers him sometimes about receivers. Tyler Boyd has called out the Steelers again. The former WPIAL star doesn’t think George Pickens would act this way in Cincy, indicating it is a problem within the Steelers culture. What kind of an indictment is that on Mike Tomlin? The guys think things like this could be more damming than any analyst or expert saying this.

We found out as we went on air that there will be news coming from Mike Tomlin later today. We hit on the message again from the head coach and if it is working for the younger roster. Is Tomlin still the right guy for the job? What will the news be later – Kenny Pickett or George Pickens related?

We all got got by a fake Jason Mackey account on Twitter. The guys are scrambling after a fake trade rumor was spread around that was quickly picked up by multiple notable media members. 

Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. Tyler commented on Marc-Andre Fleury coming back to Pittsburgh, but not playing in the game. He said why Fleury was such a lovable teammate. TK talked about how the Penguins have turned some things around in this last little set of games. Tyler wished a new Penguin well, even though he’s going to be rocking the #48. Chris asked Tyler about the upcoming schedule and if the team is looking at this in a chunk of games or just one at a time. TK also talked about some challenges to Christmas shopping.

We heard more from Mike Tomlin as he and the media addressed what is going on with George Pickens right now and if it can be fixed. Tomlin also addressed how Kenny Pickett has looked so far this week and if he could return from injury on Saturday. 

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said the Steelers operation looks like it is going off the rails with George Pickens. Mike believes that Mike Tomlin has already failed with this player and they have to figure things out at season’s end. Mike thinks Pickens does have a right to be frustrated with how this offense has looked this year and how they haven’t used him enough. Mike wouldn’t be surprised if a trade is requested in the off-season. Mike talked about the dominos not being ready to fall yet, but this is the time when they are getting set up. Mike thinks the Steelers internally want the relationship with Tomlin to end and they could be working their way to making the other side of the equation to want it too. 

We reacted to the Mike Florio segment and what it means about where the Steelers are at right now. The guys think Jaylen Warren should be the most upset player by all of this and how George Pickens has acted. Callers gave their thoughts on the state of the Steelers. Aditi reacted to what is going on with George Pickens right now and if it compares to other Steelers receivers of the past. Aditi dove into the idea of how things can be fixed with the Steelers right now. Aditi reacted to what some national pundits, who have defended Tomlin strongly in the past, are saying now as things are looking lower than ever under the veteran head coach. She agreed that this looks as close to the bottom as she’s ever seen and gave input from former players. She credited Tomlin for how long he has been at or close to the top, but sometimes you have to go down to go back up.
