He believes New England wasn't the worst loss of the current three-game losing streak but being up 13-0 against the Colts to be outscored 30-0.

This is basically a playoff game. If the Steelers lose, it will make six straight seasons the Steelers have had one three game losing streak dating back to 2016. They had two separate ones in 2019. With the Chargers job now available,  Mitch Trubisky is going to have to make plays down the field for the Steelers to win. Targeted aggression needs to be the focal point. He hasn’t seen much good tape from the Steelers or Colts. He emphasized how the Steelers run game was neutralized against New England and the effect it had on the offense. He felt like Trubisky doesn’t want to make the big mistake and take sacks or turn it over, so he got the ball out quickly. “It almost feels like you have a 120 yard red zone” - Mayock said with how the Steelers play offense with short passes. Mike thinks Kenny Pickett is tough and throws a good seam route. “The jury’s still out” on Pickett. Mike thinks Broderick Jones is playing like an average tackle and needs to clean up some things.

Tomlin probably tells the national media more in interview settings than local media every week at his press conference. Mark Kaboly of The Athletic joined the show. A sense of urgency has not been felt at all the past few weeks for the Steelers. If they don't win this week, the playoffs are probably out of sight.
