Will we see more and more of a change at running back for the Steelers? Donny and Chris discussed the prospect of Jaylen Warren seeing more touches than Najee Harris as time goes on. The guys agreed that Warren makes you feel better about the Steelers situation when he is on the field and he, along with Diontae Johnson, are two players that can help move the chains. They also brought up the weird comparisons that people make between Harris and Le’Veon Bell, but they listed a few reasons why that didn’t make sense.
Aditi Kinkhabwala from the NFL on CBS joined the show. Aditi talked about the Browns massive win over the 49ers on Sunday and what that could mean for the one of the Steelers biggest foes going forward. She told us what some Browns players have said is going into what makes their defense great. Chris asked Aditi why Desmond King got basically no chance with the Steelers and has already been released. She brought up a point made on a recent NFL broadcast about an effective play design and how we never hear that during Steeler games. Aditi talked about what Diontae Johnson can bring to the Steelers offense, but she is worried about the team’s scheme. Aditi talked about the Browns concern with Deshaun Watson and what is going on with his shoulder injury. She gave a ton of credit to PJ Walker and how he performed against the 49ers.
