Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike thinks the Steelers are in a spot where most people aren’t expecting much, but that’s when they do their best work. The “experts” have them finishing last in the AFC North, but Mike does not see that happening this year. He is buying into the George Pickens hype and thinks he can be a target that requires double coverage. Mike’s best-case scenario for the Steelers is largely dependent on what Kenny Pickett can do. He said we’ll have an idea of where Pickett is about midway through the season. Mike gave his take on the Jonathan Taylor situation and RB dilemma around the league. He said there is clearly a different strategy with the position compared to all the others and Taylor waited too long to make a big stink of it. Mike talked about the rivalry brewing with the Jets and Broncos due to the coaches. If Mike had to pick, he thinks the Steelers will be better than the Browns because the Steelers are consistently competitive and the Browns always come up short.
