Cutch said the Pirates were a tough team last year and that’s something else that was attractive to him coming back because it looked like a scrappy group that could win. Cutch really believes this team can truly compete this year. He talked about Oneil Cruz and how he’s a special player that does things that you just don’t see every day. The guys asked Cutch how well he remembers the walk-off home run against the Cardinals in 2015 before the All-Star break. He said his favorite moment as a Pirate was his 8-RBI game in 2017.

Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray talked about what got Matt Canada back as the Steelers offensive coordinator. Ray talked about Canada while at Pitt and some of the creativity he showed with that offense, albeit with great college talent. Ray said the Steelers will need a good start to next season or else it could get “very ugly.” The guys asked Ray if Art Rooney II would ever step in and make a move happen and if he looks cheap for sticking by Canada after a bad offensive season. Ray went through some of the Steelers free agents and who they may bring back.
