93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. The guys asked Jeff if Myles Jack has played his last snap as a Steeler, but he felt pretty good about Jack being back next season with Mark Robinson as the starter beside him. Jeff talked about Matt Canada being the offensive coordinator next season. Jeff thinks the conservative play calling in Baltimore came more from Mike Tomlin than the team’s OC. Jeff said it’s a confident feeling in the Steelers facility this week, especially the offensive line. Jeff thinks controlling Nick Chubb is the biggest factor in Sunday’s game. Jeff talked about the QB matchup pitting Deshaun Watson and Kenny Pickett.  

It looks like all systems go around the NFL and the league appears to be decided that Bills-Bengals will not continue. How are you feeling about the Steelers playoff chances? How confident are you they will get help and finish their own business?

He said the bye week has done wonders for this team. Chris asked Ray how much we will see of Devin Bush. The guys wanted Ray’s opinion on the back-to-back game-winning drives from Kenny Pickett and he wondered why we don’t see it as much in the first 3 quarters. Ray told us if he thinks this will be the last of Matt Canada. He said the bottom line in this league is scoring and the Steelers just aren’t doing enough of it right now. Ray said the Steelers will make the playoffs.
