PG columnist Jason Mackey joined the show. Jason has been in Ireland all week, so he gave a lay of the land of what is going on. He told the guys about some of the local vernacular he’s picking up. Jason thinks this game does mean a little bit more to the Steelers. Jason thinks the Rooney family would like for this to not be the last time the Steelers play in Dublin. Jason said it could be close to a 50/50 crowd even though the Steelers are the home team.

Does this game mean more to the Steelers? We know how much the trip means to the Rooney family and how much it would have meant to the late Dan Rooney. It seems like some players, Cam Heyward included, sounds like this game has some more juice. The guys think it also means a ton to Mike Tomlin, given how much it means for the family that hired him. Poni said he can’t picture the Steelers coming out flat in this game.

Mike talked about teams dealing with giving away a home game in favor of playing internationally. Who is in more trouble – the Chiefs or the Ravens, one of which will fall to 1-3 this Sunday? The guys got Mike’s reaction to Russell Wilson being benched in NY. How will the Steelers’ comp picks be impacted by what has happened to some of their free agents?

Mike Tomlin has given Aaron Rodgers ‘two thumbs up’ for his performance so far. Has he been THAT good? The guys got into the good and bad of Rodgers, admitting that he has been better than expected. Chris thinks his play has dipped in all 3 games, however.

Tyler said he won’t be emotional, but he loves that the Penguins are doing this to honor the multi-time Stanley Cup champion. Tyler told the guys if he got asked to come back he would actually work hard like he was trying to make the team. The guys pointed out that this is one of the biggest games of the season and it doesn’t actually count. Can TK talk Fleury into moving back here full time?
