The party ventures toward the magical location where their next legendary artifact resides. They pick up Ghorlorz on the way using Siri's tree transit system so he can deal with the orcs at the settlement near their objective.

At the settlement the adventurers find a mysterious old man who has been spared by the orcs. They investigate his dealings and purpose in a brief interview.

The party then ventures into Khalero's Caverns, a dim cave system made of connected corridors, a stone wall covered in vines, a makeshift camp, and a suspended bridge leading to a wooden loft.

They explore the inside of the loft for a bit, only to return and knock on the door.

Ghorlorz motivates and mobilizes his orc army towards Witherfoot, currently occupied by Vecna's elementals, and must make a decision to defend either Goldcrest or Tethril.

The rest of the Vaunted Valiant are enjoying the relocation of Atlas to the plane of Ysguard. A new library has been constructed, which Siri has been named the head librarian, and that is where Quidan studies his father's journals to locate other legendary artifacts. Their new Jasidan Clergy ally, Baron Landgrave, also helps to decipher the scripts. They give the party the general location of a new artifact, Groundkey, which is a magical shovel that makes portals in the ground.

The party communicates with Ghorlorz via sending stone, to update him on the location of the artifact and to see if he can do something about the orc occupation in the camp near the location of Groundkey.

Also Silas gets his car towed.

Devtrast, Ghorlorz and Ullster gather around their new round table to discuss the entirety of season 1 in anticipation for season 2. With a new studio setup, the audio is moist af.

We touch on some events that happened before the podcast, and everything thereafter. If you really want to skip the first season and start here, then I guess that's fine. But you should go listen to season 1 for real.
