Cameron's still lurking around Stephen and Bryan's house, lit only by the eerie, sterile glow of his MacBook Pro, so inviting some friends over seemed like a capital idea. Enter Whales are Whales member Abigail and friend of the show (and boyfriend of the Abigail) Parker, bringing the count up to five in-person participants and the chaos level to something just below terrifyingly unmanageable. All the same, you will learn so much by listening to this podcast. The original name for Whales are Whales is revealed (hint: it's Bagel Bagel Productions), followed by a demonstration during which Cameron and Abigail switch glasses and see if they can read things (hint: they can't). There's even a quiz show about anime called Anime-zing Quiz Show because Stephen is hilarious. If you're a fan of people yelling/laughing and also off-brand food products, then goodness gracious, sir or madame, you are in for a treat. If you're a fan of Zachary, then rage, rage to the sky as we have done these past two weeks. He'll be back soon!

  • 7: Cameron Visits Houston and Tells Ghost Stories: The Podcast
The sun is down, the lights are dimmed, and Cameron has traveled across the country to sit on Stephen and Bryan's porch. Now that these three compatriots are in the same physical space, plunking a microphone down on a table and staring one another in the eyes becomes not fiction, but reality. Video games are a popular subject, particularly the lovable genderless mushroom people from Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker and Cameron's journey through Journey, but the mysterious bat-filled forest that is Houston, Texas inspires more than mere conversation. Ghost stories all told around the mosquito-repellent lantern in whispered words that clutch the heart with fear and kick the shin with plot twists. These tales include:Dave the Pine TreeThe Flying Spaghetti MonsterThe Sky from the Light Turned Off (Including the Moon) feat. Bobby Flay Show Notes: Our theme music is Earl of July by coda. The song that Bryan and Cameron created in a single night is called From a Castlevania. All other music is from Incompetech and the sound effects come from Freesound and... well, Stephen's mouth. Bobby Flay was played by Bobby Flay, courtesy of CBS Sunday Morning.

  • 6: Unpopularity Contest
Okay, last week's report of Stephen's "death" have been debunked. He is, in fact, not dead. Turns out he just has a cough, so make sure you wash your hands after listening to this episode and everything should be fine. Bryan's been busy during his brother's illness, going so far as to launch a new show about Hearthstone: Hearthaholics. This popular trading card game is counterbalanced by a bevy of unpopular opinions from all four panelists, ranging from Final Fantasy to Call of Duty to Shadow of Mordor to rice. As usual, the topics are pretty much limited to video games and food.

  • 5: Prepare to Die Edition
Stephen is dead. The world is plunged into darkness. The remaining survivors can only serve and consume their monolithic master Dark Souls (and according properties relating to the "Souls" series of video games). If that doesn't sound like a lovely afternoon to you, then you'd best move on because drum kits and Fight Club are pretty much the only distractions. But for the true believers, an entire world of intrigue awaits thanks to seasoned Soulsman Zachary and his two apprentices (Bryan and Cameron).

Do you know what a Bloodborne is? How about a Dark Souls? If not, prepare to be educated by Zachary and kind of Cameron! And don't worry; even if you don't learn anything, you can still enjoy the nice little chat. But hold on now, it's not all video games all day around here. Honestly, the youth of today, I swear. Stephen has been hanging out in Barnes & Noble, buying smart things that make him smart. This leads us up to the pinnacle of 20th Century Culture Mountain: Animorphs. Keep a box of tissues handy, dear listeners, because the tale of Tobias the hawk and his mother will not leave you unmoved. Oh, and Bryan says hi!

Cameron reveals a host of secrets about spooky spooky Resident Evil HD, Stephen knows everything about Marvel Comics (such as Black Widow's real name, Sh-Sh-Sheila F-Forester), and Bryan tells everyone a rousing tale about Heroes of the Storm. To top it off with toppings (condiments?), Food Time returns from the old Disembodied Voices grave to deliver nostalgic indigestion with a vengeance! Wow. Just wow.
