Toot toot and the Guard steal multiple scenes and Andi shows up to shred a nice tux, though with good reason as Harry does serious damage to Butter's gaming rig!

Wherein Harry begins to communicate with the Winter Sidhe.

Harry gets a jolly old surprise meeting with someone from his childhood, we learn the Erlking's name, and we get more evidence that Eldest Gruff is a gentleman and a badass--tho probably not Lafortier's murderer, turns out.

A snotty Maeve and a her snottier minions try to cause trouble, Sarissa is all mysterious, and if you picture it the way I do. the rawhead is way less gross!

Its day one in the prison yard, so Harry makes sure all of winter knows he's not stuck in here with them, theyre stuck in here with HIM!

Sarissa wins the day with some iron resolve, and Mab gives Harry a shocking first command!

Wherein Harry gets an attempted murder montage.

We start with Bombshells, where Molly takes on the Fomor and the Patriarchy alike! Its an enjoyable, if often heart wrenching, peak into the Grasshoppers Noggin and she really shows her unique strengths!

After that we dip our toes into novel 14, Cold Days! (Chapters 1-2 today, 3-7 next week!) where Harry convalesces at Arctis Tor under the caring and watchful eyes of Queen Mab!

Wherein Uriel says that there's a Fallen to blame, but Harry knows...its his own damn fault.

We see the straw that absolutely decimated whatever was left of Molly's mental health camel, and see a much more interesting big action set piece that takes place inside the Grasshopper's squiggly grey stuff!

Butters picks up some nightmare fuel and one for the snapshot, so its probably a wash; Murphy may as well be b ack in Hawaii this week, but Uriel does a cool omniscience expo dumb. But the reveal we all came for doesnt disappoint! Harry learns who really killed him: the dude nad-dogging him from across the bathroom sink!

Its all action no heart, but its still Dresden, and still solid, if not quite reaching the usual spectacular highs.

Wherein Harry can only watch the B-plot mini-boss fight!

Luckily he has Forthill to rush in unprepared because someone he just met is in danger and the right thing to do, Daniel to soak up the punishment because Butcher is a monster who thrives on our suffering, Butters to swing the big hammer, and Fitz to learn the lesson, grow as a person, and make he dark world a little bit brighter for everyone around him....its a very passable "Wizard of Chicago" cosplay!!

There's a powerful if strange moment shared by our wizard and his broken apprentices, Bob gets to peacock, and we meet a really cool new character type---and Harry immediately tries to fight it!!

The wards are iffy, but the threshold is strong and you're all invited! So BAMF! on in and take a load off, Ghost Story part 7 starts RIGHT NOW!!!

Wherein Harry reconsiders his past. 

Runaway Teen Harry tries to deal with the bad guy Walking Behind him, Ghost Adult Harry finishes his deal with Lea, and along with Fitz, Bob, and Butters, we have a team-up moment to save a good Padre.

We consider whether Toomgis (pictured in post below) is an outsider, whether Mister is the White God, and contemplate the relationships between Lea/Harry and Bob/Harry.
