Wherein Harry brings in some spicy goyles.

This week, i dont even know how to explain it to yall. Lyssy got tipsy, I was getting sick, and boy oh boy did we wander. BACK TO NORMAL NEXT WEEK I PROMISE!

We do spend some time breaking down some great chapters--several times, in fact. I get a missed call from a ghost the same chunk where Harry dials one up, we try to save the world, and discuss everything from periods to abortion...in 5 hours you can really get into the weeds!

Gold star to anyone who lasts all the way through! Twelve Months chunk 9 starts RIGHT NOW!

Wherein Harry splits Lara in twain.

(Next Week: Twelve Months ch. 33-36)

This week, Carl and Bock compete to be the absolute WORST, and I think it ends up in a tie. Harry's experiment with Lara's hunger is a roaring success, he shares a moment with Fitz, and he solves the St. Brigid black magic mystery.....quite a busy week!

We discuss ways to somehow ake our podcast MORE niche, struggle to keep kitties off the keyboard, and I continue my decades long campaign of exposing dentists for the monsters they truly are.

My mouth hurts, but the pod came out okay! Twelve Months chunk 8 starts...RIGHT NOW!!

Wherein Harry learns about the in-laws.

(Next Week: Twelve Months ch. 29-32)

(discord: https://discord.gg/bEmxEGh5PD)

Apparently Harry was listening to the pod last week when I told him to be a better dad and he finally brings Maggie to live at the castle!!

Ebenezer shows up and for the first time in ages acts like a real live human! Maybe theres hope for the old timer yet!

We also get loads of White Court intrigue this week when we learn the insidious tale of how the got their power before we get the first speaking role for the White King in about a decade. Dont worry, hes still a dbag!

You can pew-pew-pew and kazinga all you like inside, just dont let the neighbors catch you! Twelve Months chunk 7 starts RIGHT NOW!!

Wherein Harry enjoys Thanksgiving.

(Next Week: Twelve Months ch. 25-28)

(discord: https://discord.gg/bEmxEGh5PD)

Four seemingly disconnected chapters populate this chunk, but a lot of good stuff comes through. Thanksgiving at the Carpenters, a de-cursing at St Mary's, a visit from Mab, and another date have us juggling storylines, but its not unenjoyable. Harry is learning to trust people again, though the guy in the mirror doesnt get enough grace.

Elsewhere, Mab meets Fitz, Lara is a little TOO open and vulnerable, an old spell reappears, and I spend time on everyone's favorite topic: bashing Michael as a father....only a short time though!

Comoe on down the chunk is nice and ice free! Twelve Months part 5 starts RIGHT NOW!!

Wherein Harry loses at Monopoly.

(Next Week: Twelve Months ch. 21-24)

(discord: https://discord.gg/bEmxEGh5PD)

This week, Dracul drops threats, Harry meets Lara's Hunger, we gathers more evidence that Bock is just the WORST, and we catch another positive Carlos interaction!

Experimented with some new editing choices to mixed results this week so pardon the hiccups. Twelve Months chunk 5 starts RIGHT NOW!

Wherein Harry chews on a ghoul.

(Next Week: VACATION!)

(Two Weeks: Twelve Months ch. 17-20)

(discord: https://discord.gg/bEmxEGh5PD)

This week, Harry loses a board game to an echo, loses his lunch to a bottle of scotch, and almost loses his life to a pack of ghouls. Of course that's before we realize he is about to come face to face with the creature that ripped three of his friends away from him!!

We talk Ice Dancing scandal, critters, mental health, and more, including nearly a half hour of accent and geneaolgy talk that just to get bumped to the ol egg. Bonus points if anyone actually sits through that mess!

We're off next weekend so we packed a little extra love and adhd into this one, just make sure you keep everything shiny out of sight! We're easily distracted. Twelve Months chunk four starts......RIGHT NOW!!

Wherein Harry makes like Kissinger.

(Next Week: Twelve Months ch. 13-16)

(discord: https://discord.gg/bEmxEGh5PD)

This week, Harry gets embroiled in not one but two potential large scale wars. The svartalves know he has Thomas and the ghouls know Chicago is wounded. Both could prove to be explosive situations.

Michael continues to prove that he's the best friend fiction has to offer, Bear is wonderful, Maggie is the cutest--even when off-screen! We learn the oldest school mma, get real worried about our future, and get a wonderfully heart-felt thank you that leads to the best burger ever.

We skip through some tech issues but life is good. A tardy Chunk 3 of Twelve Months starts RIGHT NOW!!

Wherein the pod hits 50k downloads!!

(Next Week: Twelve Months ch. 9-12)

(discord: https://discord.gg/bEmxEGh5PD)

This week, Harry picks up an apprentice, regains real if shaky footing with a former friend, and has his first couple fight with the White Queen!

Our boy Fitz is back from Ghost Story and boy has he developed. Harry takes the high potential young spellslinger under his wing, but has to keep it on the dl as the wardens are always a threat to come snooping around. Come August they do just that, but its in the guise of the lovable Ramirez and.....the less lovable Ilyana.

Podtalk dishes dermatology, critters, brains, and an absolutely INSANE milestone where you crazy folks reading this just got us to 50 thousand career downloads. We're floored by your support, and here's to many more 50 thousands! Don't mind the celebratory glitterbombs, but also DEFINIITELY don't get any on your face or you'll be bedazzled for weeks. Twelve Months chunk 2 starts RIGHT NOW!!!!

Wherein Harry struggles to carry on.

(Next Week: Twelve Months ch. 5-8)

(discord: https://discord.gg/bEmxEGh5PD)

We pick up a few weeks after the Battle of Chicago, and buildings arent the only things devastated. Harry is broken by the loss of Murph et al, but has no time to sit still and heal. The people of his city still need him to feed and shelter them, and the Winter Court needs him to start courting Lara Raith. Thomas is still an outlaw, busted up, and trapped on Demonreach. Harry no longer has the White Council 's resources to supplement his own, and dang it he JUST. NEEDS. TIME!

But he isnt likely to get it. Billy pitches in, Bob shows a side we've never seen before, Molly does what she can...but the real hero this chunk turns out to be Lara! Maybe old vampires can learn new compassionate tricks!

We chat mental health, I struggle to keep disciplined and only read four chapters, and Lyssy tries some new voices and dotes on her kitty. Come on in, theres chocolate, tissues, and hugs. Twelve Months chunk 1 starts RIGHT NOW!

Wherein we learn Harry DOESNT have a Dark Mark tattoo.

(Next Week: Twelve Months ch 1-4)

This week shows us how Harry spends a valuable day off: pretty much exactly the same as the rest of em!

There's hijinks, sexy hijinks, and ridiculous self important "villains!"

Mouse protects Mister, Molly goes topless for some reason, Andi and Kirby like it hairy, and to top it all off we FINALLY get that Mister POV we have all been clamoring for in our microfiction!

It's the last pod before Twelve Months so don't on in, it's only getting sadder and less ridiculous from

here!
