We start with Bombshells, where Molly takes on the Fomor and the Patriarchy alike! Its an enjoyable, if often heart wrenching, peak into the Grasshoppers Noggin and she really shows her unique strengths!

After that we dip our toes into novel 14, Cold Days! (Chapters 1-2 today, 3-7 next week!) where Harry convalesces at Arctis Tor under the caring and watchful eyes of Queen Mab!

We celebrate our 100th ep (HOLY CRAP! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!) the same way we always do: we have a gay old centennial time breaking down the good stuff but are never in a hurry, with digressions and tangents galore including brain chemistry, the ethical cost of watching people make cookies on television, and the truly sensational impact on our lives our listeners have made!

Wherein Uriel says that there's a Fallen to blame, but Harry knows...its his own damn fault.

We see the straw that absolutely decimated whatever was left of Molly's mental health camel, and see a much more interesting big action set piece that takes place inside the Grasshopper's squiggly grey stuff!

Butters picks up some nightmare fuel and one for the snapshot, so its probably a wash; Murphy may as well be b ack in Hawaii this week, but Uriel does a cool omniscience expo dumb. But the reveal we all came for doesnt disappoint! Harry learns who really killed him: the dude nad-dogging him from across the bathroom sink!

Wherein Harry makes like Tom Hanks.

The lecter spectres go wacko on wolfwaffen, Harry and grey ghost-taker play whack-a-mole, Murphy plays fire-in-the-hole, and Josh breaks all the rules. Not me! The other Josh! This Josh spends about an hour talking about his true joy in life: naps.

Its all action no heart, but its still Dresden, and still solid, if not quite reaching the usual spectacular highs.

Ignore the popcorn all over the floor, the vacuum comes this week. Just keep the noise down and make sure the blinds are closed.....Ghost Story part 8 starts RIGHT NOW!!!

Wherein Harry can only watch the B-plot mini-boss fight!

Luckily he has Forthill to rush in unprepared because someone he just met is in danger and the right thing to do, Daniel to soak up the punishment because Butcher is a monster who thrives on our suffering, Butters to swing the big hammer, and Fitz to learn the lesson, grow as a person, and make he dark world a little bit brighter for everyone around him....its a very passable "Wizard of Chicago" cosplay!!

There's a powerful if strange moment shared by our wizard and his broken apprentices, Bob gets to peacock, and we meet a really cool new character type---and Harry immediately tries to fight it!!

The wards are iffy, but the threshold is strong and you're all invited! So BAMF! on in and take a load off, Ghost Story part 7 starts RIGHT NOW!!!

Wherein Harry reconsiders his past. 

Runaway Teen Harry tries to deal with the bad guy Walking Behind him, Ghost Adult Harry finishes his deal with Lea, and along with Fitz, Bob, and Butters, we have a team-up moment to save a good Padre.

We consider whether Toomgis (pictured in post below) is an outsider, whether Mister is the White God, and contemplate the relationships between Lea/Harry and Bob/Harry.

Wherein Harry brings Fitz to some old friends.

Nick Christian and Father Forthill lend Harry and Fitz help in their own ways, and while the kid recuperates, Harry heads off on a good old-fashioned recon mission! We catch up with evil Bob, learn the identity of the Grey Ghost, and when finally safe back at the grave, we get some juicy intel on Lea!

Wherein Harry learns that everyone does murders, apparently!

Murph is worse than we thought, Mort is better than we thought, and Butters is a magic gizmo wiz....mo? 

Bodies are piling up and all the decomposing fingers point to Molly, Harry gets three more missions added to his plate: creepy statue, creepy kids, and creepy Fagin analogue-- minus the Dickensian anti-Semitism, at least! Finally we learn that our gentlemanly Baron is doing good deeds, if for less than good reasons.

Lyssy fawns over gargoyles, Josh adds head canon, and we realize Ghost Story isn't the changeup it gets branded as! We have a new castle here and the Shadow will KNOW if you dont use coasters!! Ghost Story chunk 3 is LIVE!

Wherein Harry sees the state of his people.

Murphy is jaded, the Alphas are big time, and Molly is broken.....whoooo boy is Molly broken.

Harry picks up a couple new tricks, makes contact with the Justice League and heads off into the night to catch some baddies, but as always it's the relationships that really makes a Dresden File tick. And tick this chunk does.
