Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin' Podcast! The Pod Boys wonder why British actors are better at doing American accents than American actors doing British accents. It has something to do with being exposed to the culture more than we are of theirs. Sefa is tired of being taken on a hood safari whenever he touches down in a city. The boys then discuss online forums and how they shaped their musical tastes. Also, Sefa is a battle rap legend. Marcus then wonders why his good friend Sefa would rather die than ask where the candy aisle is. Guys, it's ok to ask for help. Sefa details how much of a menace he would be on Survivor if he was up for elimination. Survivor brings out the worst in people. What is one thing your parents got on you about that you hated as a kid, but now get on everyone else, or yourself, about? Enjoy the show!

Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin' Podcast! The Pod Boys are figuring things out and it's all coming along nicely. The only thing they can't figure out is whether Jamie Lee Curtis deserved to win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress over Angela Bassett and Stephanie Hsu. Sefa doesn't understand why the mom from Freaky Friday got an Oscar over T'Challa's mom. They talk about how terrible it is getting sick in your 30's. Sefa was knocking on Heaven's door at one point during his whole ordeal. Marcus then wants to know the origin of Daylight Savings Time because what is even the point of it? The boys are not farmers. The boys then discuss lying on a dead relative's name because Clifford "T.I" Harris said he did that during one of his "podcaster mode" rants. What crime would you pin on your dead relative? Enjoy the show!

Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin' Podcast! The Pod Boys get straight to it, discussing the validity, or lack thereof, of Tampico. If you are a fan of it, Sefa would like to know why and to discontinue listening to his portion of the show. They then get into Survivor and the strategies the boys would use to win. Marcus would form alliances and stab everyone in the back, while Sefa would throw people off of his scent by being very middle-of-the-pack-esque. Both would be untrustworthy during the whole thing, though. Things get dark when they start talking about their paranormal experiences in and out of Samoa. Who you gonna call? The Pod Boys then make a special announcement about the future of the podcast. Things are looking bright. Enjoy the show!

Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin' Podcast! The Pod Boys have made it to Episode 19. Last time it only took them three years to get to this many episodes. Progress. They speak on the controversy surrounding Hogwarts Legacy, and think it's ok to have your gripes, but the gripes over this game might be a bit of a reach. Things get serious as the boys discuss the process of grief, and if there are any major differences between the way other cultures grieve. The conversation takes a turn once Sefa got goin' about the beauty of Samoan culture. Enjoy the show!

Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin' Podcast! The Pod Boys are out here poddin' and they're collaborating, my friends. The Washed Boys play host to two special guests, Lance Faletogo and Forest Duldulao, the duo behind THE BALLINESIAN PODCAST. The two delve into their careers, their accolades, and what brought them together to start their show. Lance wonders how we can think like a CEO, not an employee, because none of them want to work a real job. They'd much rather work for themselves.
Marcus then asks the boys that dreaded "representation" question again, in light of the trailer for the new movie Red, White, and Brass, directed by Damon Fepulea'i. They discuss what representation means to them, and how seeing anyone of Pacific Islander descent in a movie or TV show gets them hyped up. But once Margaret Mead entered the picture, the boys couldn't help but want to fight her descendants. What does representation mean to you? Were you as hyped as the boys were when they would see other racially ambiguous Samoans in the vicinity? Enjoy the show!

Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin' Podcast! The Pod Boys almost missed a week because they were fresh out of topics by the time of recording, but luckily they're always able to cobble something together at the last minute. Shout out to school for teaching them that. They speak on Alec Baldwin getting charged for involuntary manslaughter for the October 2021 death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Sefa thinks the charges won't stick and Marcus doesn't care for actors trying to be smart. They then touch on the whole "Shannon Sharpe vs. the Grizzlies" the other day and cannot believe people think that Shannon Sharpe has a chance against Steven Adams. He got that dawg in him. Side note: Marcus got the California tax refund. He is now Stimmy Turner. Enjoy the show!
