Pyramid Head, a ton of smoke, and scary black scars in the ground. These are all things that make up the series Silent Hill. But it's also not completely out of nowhere. Silent Hill was inspired by Centralia, Pennsylvania and the fire that has been burning underground there since 1962.
In this episode, Lisa goes into extensive digging into the history of this town, how involved fire was in that history and will be forever. Listen to Davis as he sings a new version of Carol of the Bells. And listen to Jake as he scares us with a story of prophetic preachers that make their way through all the smoke.
this place is crazy and a perfect one for us to formally end our second season. We thank you so very much for listening and can't wait for season 3 in 2023. We're going to do some amazing things. All this on the final episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast Season 2. TPPP 82: Centralia, Pennsylvania.

That's right, if you thought Jake could make it through anything, you now know how wrong you were. If you knew he could get scared, than this comes less of a surprise. The Gomantong Caves are home to many things. A ton of those things are creepy, crawly, or something in between there. And that's exactly why Jake had a tough time with this location.
Listen to Jake squirm more than most of the creepy crawlies that we all know about. Listen to Davis as he talks about some of our favorite childhood toys. And Lisa the whole time has a very koi smile on her face as she continuously talks about all the creatures and creepy things that fill the cave.
Travel with us to Malaysia and the Gomantong Cave. Enjoy the grand exodus each night with us. And if you're creeped out, please let Jake know so he can commiserate with you. All this for the 81st episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 81: Gomantong Caves.

Have you ever seen a death metal album, seen all the skulls and bones, it's got a name like Bone Church or Skull Chair or something like that? Well then, you've probably than seen this location, or something inspired by it. The Sedlec Ossuary is a place with more than 40,000 humans worth of bones that are made into various chandeliers, decorations, and even a coat of arms.
The Treacherous Trio dive into the Czech Republic to talk all about this bone building (another great album name) and discuss just how this came to be. Lisa tells us all about how this type of macabre way of "burying" people is not as uncommon as we would have thought. Jake has a scary story that results in a femur being broken. And Davis brings apparitions into the holiday spirits.
All this and oh so much more in this very Eastern Europe adventure for The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. Make sure you answer what piece of furniture you would want to become once your time is done. This is TPPP 80: Sedlec Ossuary, Czech Republic.

The Island of the Dolls in Mexico is one of the creepiest places to see when you look it up online. Quite a few dolls out in this swampy and tree-filled area, all of the dolls looking grosser and dirtier then the ones before. And that is the subject of our latest episode. We went through the dolls just to entertain you and we barely came out of it alive.
Listen to all of us cringe in this episode as Lisa continues to show us creepier and creepier images of dolls that adorn this island. Listen to Jake as he hits us up with a story of how the girl ghost of this island demands more and more dolls. And listen to Davis's newest Christmas song all about the Sasquatch.
All of this and more is the beginning of our theme of Stranger than Nonfiction. One of the creepiest themes that we have ever done. You don't want to miss any of these episodes and just how scary it is. All this on The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP79: Island of the Dolls, Mexico.

This week we bring in a special guest, that's right, it's our local modern witch, the Wiccan queen herself, Hannah! Also, Davis's wife! And she takes us on a journey all through everything that could ever be Winter Solstice. We usually ask the question, is this paranormal? And for the winter solstice, we know it is. It is a doozy of a paranormal thing.
Listen to Hannah as she explains just what the solstice is, what we can practice for this holiday, and gives us all a tarot reading for the upcoming winter solstice. Listen to Davis as he starts the Christmas songs, gives Hannah a quiz, and tells his first almost scary story!
This episode is the final of what we are going to be calling the sick weeks for years to come. You don't want to miss this very special episode and Davis's first scary story of the show. All this and more in the 78th episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 78: The Winter Solstice.

Happy Halloween! We've come to the finale of what we have affectionately called "Spooky Booky Gabadookie" month, but don't ask us what that means. With that, we are celebrating the 35th anniversary of The Lost Boys, and not the one about Peter Pan. This is the Kiefer Sutherland vampire pic from 1987.
Lisa is going to hit us with the history of this haunted boardwalk, including a rollercoaster that sets to outweigh the stars! Davis gives us a spooky quiz all about people tried as vampires, werewolves, and witches. And Jake tells us a scary story of people that have been drowned nearby, that continue to haunt the boardwalk, and the inspiration for so many movies.
The next episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast is going to be our first live show! You're not going to want to miss this to prepare you for an episode of campfire stories, spooky tales, and beer. So much beer. But, until we get to drink together, at least virtually, we will take a cruise down the boardwalk. TPPP 75: Santa Cruz Boardwalk!

A very special episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast! This week we are traveling across the pond to the British city of London. A very large matropolis that is steeped in history, scary stories, and some amazing ghosts. We needed some help with this, so we asked Nikki Druce to help us! You may know her from the podcasts Macabre London or Killers, Cults, and Queens. Her amazingly terrifying story of a specter known as the Black Nun will be right up all of you alley.
Listen to Nikki's story and all of the research she did on that story and 28 Days Later. Lisa hits us up with so much around the building, creation, and things they found when building the London Underground. Listen to Jake go into some detail on all of the haunts of these harrowed tubes. And Davis takes us into a quiz about four of the more famous tube stations.
This very special episode of TPPP is perfect for the spookiest month of the year. Also, we've got another riddle for the Scavenger hunt! Here it is: These locations are this. Without a doubt. Do you hear the creepy breathing behind you? Do you see him staring at you from the bushes? Do you see the shiny knife/machete that he's got? You've found yourself inside of a slasher film. A slow moving, hulking humanoid figure that remorselessly kills and no one can stop them, even though they only move at a walking pace. That is the subject of the Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco episode of TPPP.
Lisa walks us through the Friday the 13th movie that was filmed in this very camp location, and has left some remnants behind. Jake went through all of the scariest camp stories that he could find and made us all pee ourselves just a little bit. And Davis reads for the newest slasher film that's all about the Silent Slasher.
This is the second episode of the spookiest season of episodes. October has only just begun, but we've already hit up so many scary movie locations and we will be hitting up even more as we go.
