BRRRAAAAIINNNSSSS.... The zombie, a creature that has scared the crap out of all of us for quite some time. These creatures didn't just come from nowhere, though. They had some inspiration and have morphed throughout the years. And one of the biggest morphs they did was when a young George A. Romero visited the Monroeville Mall in Pennsylvania.
This mall was the inspiration for the movie Dawn of the Dead, but it has so much more to offer than that. Listen to Lisa as she explains the history of zombies, specifically the Romero-esque ones. Davis hits us up with a new zombie movie that involves ducks for some reason. And listen to Jake as he tells us about real life zombies that have made everything horrible for all of us.
This episode kicks off October and our scavenger hunt! If you want to partake in the scavenger hunt, go on over to TPPPod.com and click on the scavenger hunt page. What could be scarier than a hotel, right? Well, what about a hotel that is haunted with ghosts, has the longest front porch we've ever heard of, and has a dress code? Have we scared you enough yet? Well, then you're not going to want to miss this episode on The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in Michigan.
Mackinac ( Pronounced Mack - in - aw) island was once the most sacred of burial ground for tribes in the area. Lisa covers a large part of that in her history and how it has become now a hotel on an island that doesn't allow cars. Jake tells us all about a ghost in this hotel that doesn't like people being too loud, even when you're under the covers. And Davis tells us all about black cats and gives us another witchy anthem.
This episode is the final of our haunted Michigan series thanks to our local witch Hannah. Next up is October, the spookiest of the months for most, and we are incredibly excited to get you into this month with an awesome episode. The 71st episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. We say Haunted Michigan, but this location finds itself basically right in between Michigan, Canada, and the Paranormal. All those three intersect in this dark abandoned and haunted amusement park. Boblo island, also spelled Bois Blanc, was one of Michigan's premiere attractions for everything you could ever want in an amusement park, ferry ride, zoo, and so much more. But now, it's completely abandoned. And scary as hell.
Listen this week as Davis serenades both us and the full moon with a Fleetwood Mac Remake. Jake hits us with a story of a burned ghost known colloquially as Smiley. And Lisa fills us with dread at what happened on the ferries on the way to this pretty doomed island.
All this stems from our Haunted Michigan Month as chosen by Hannah. The state of Michigan is scarier than we originally thought, but we've loved it! This is just one of the many scary places this state holds in it's paranormal pockets. This being the 70th episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast, it is a very good representation of what we are all about. TPPP 70: Boblo Island, Michigan.

Hannah, the unseen producer, creator, and overlord of our podcast, has taken over for this month! She is in charge of choosing all of our locations. So, she wanted to go back to her home state of Michigan and have us explore some of the locations there! Starting with an asylum that is known by a lot of people in Detroit. Eloise Asylum in Westland Michigan.
This location has had many different buildings and uses, which Lisa tells us all about, including how not even ten percent of it is still usable. Jake hits us with some incredibly creepy personal stories of people that find themselves called to this location through their dreams. And Davis is given another task by Hannah to make a song all about Tarot Cards.
This is the beginning of Haunted Michigan, if you've never been, hop along on this ride with us to the state that's shaped like a mitten and split down the middle by the non-saltwater great lakes. All this is going to be such a fun ride for all of you on the 69th (wink) episode of the Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 69: Eloise Asylum.

We're coming back inside after venturing out into the creepiness that nature has for us. This is out last outdoor adventure of the Natural Landmarks month. But, as soon as we get outside, we go inside. Into the depths of a cave known for harboring a witch that appears to be both helpful and very cruel. We head to Bell Witch Cave.
We start with the story of the Bells that lived on a farm near this cave, but they were tortured by a witch that has very mysterious origins. Lisa tells us about that and a few other things that seem to happen near this cave. Jake hits us up with a story of people that just want to stay in the cave but are haunted by way more than just the ghost of a witch. And Davis finishes things off with a Christmas rap for all you witches.
The 68th episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast is anything but possibly. It is most definitely paranormal and is trying to get you. The witch, the stories, the history, and all the weirdly Christmasy goodness you could ever want in September. All this and oh so much more on TPPP 68: Bell Witch Cave.

While this episode is like any other episode, it's name is still quite grand! More that the location itself is grand. That's right, it's the Grand Canyon and all of it's surrounding areas. Not only is that a lot of space, but it's also lot of history, stories, and comedic material for us to work with!
Lisa goes onto a deep dive of the original inhabitants of this large natural landmark and what it means to this day. Davis gives us a full suite of songs about all kinds of national parks. And Jake goes into a story about a cryptid that will leave you wondering why you would ever go to the Grand Canyon.
This is the episode after our weeks off that wasn't even our fault. So you know it's good, because we had all that extra time to practice. Or maybe it's exactly the same as every other episode. You decide on this 67th episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 67: The Grand Canyon.

This episode has a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
You know, like the ones they have in sitcoms and serial dramas on TV? We got hit by the bug that makes everything horrible, so we couldn't record our planned episode, so we instead created some of the best moments in TPPP history all in one episode. For those of you that are new to the podcast, this is the perfect episode to start with. For those of you that have been around for a while, this will be an awesome jaunt down memory lane, with a few new jokes.
We revisit Lisa and her story of the swamp in Louisiana and the fortress in Norway. We get scared again as Jake tells us the stories of the Gulliver's Kingdom theme park and Babenhausen Barracks. And Davis gets his songs back in from an Ode to Foghorns and I've seen Every Lake.
We'll be back in no time with our regularly scheduled programming, but for now enjoy this bottle episode of TPPP. It almost works that it's the 66th episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 66: The Bottle Episode.

Now, it gets personal. That's right, we explore a place that is very near and dear to us, but not just in the adjacent area, but in a special place in our hearts. The Wabasha Street Caves are a mainstay of the Minneapolis area, in which our hosts reside. And it has been voted the most haunted place in our area more than once. We definitely find out why that is true in this episode.
Davis gets us with some more music about caves this time. Jake has a story or two about different sightings and hearings that occur on almost a nightly basis. Lisa regales us with her own personal stories of this place. And we have a special guest give us their own scary stories. So much in this episode!
This is one that you don't want to miss! We bring our Minnesota A game! We know you all love our weird colloquialisms, our hotdish, and the Minnesota Niceness that covers up us talking behind your back. All of that and so much more on the 65th episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 65: Wabasha Street Caves, St. Paul.

One of the scariest places we have ever went to was down in Louisiana with the LaLaurie Mansion. So naturally, we had to revisit the state, but this time visiting a swamp in the state. And this isn't any old swamp. No, it's got an intense history and some specters that will scare even the most level headed of us.
Listen as Lisa tells us about a few towns that used to be here and left, along with a very prominent person in the area. Jake then brings her back in a scary story about who she took with her when she died. And Davis raps from the perspective of the Swamp Thing and how much better he is than the other cryptids.
This is the second episode of our Natural landmarks month. And they only get spookier from here on out! You don't want to miss these spots and maybe get yourself out there to go visit these places. If that's your thing. Probably not Davis's, but it could be yours. All this on the 64th episode of The Possible Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 64: Manchac Swamp, Louisiana.

Did you know that other places are referred to as the Bermuda Triangle? Well, now you do, and this one is in Romania. Just like the Bermuda Triangle, there are a ton of stories around time being manipulated and people completely losing their direction while in the Hoia-Baciu Forest of Romania. The only difference is that this one is only a few square miles large and is constantly surrounded in fog.
Listen to Lisa as she regales us with a story about a shepherd that gave this forest it's name. Jake will scare us with UFOs that will leave Jordan Peele even saying Nope. And Davis will do his songs about forests live, with all of you watching and listening as he tries to rap in real time.
The Hoia-Baciu Forest is the first of our Taking it Outside month of August. Every location is going to be a natural landmark that is without a doubt paranormal! Possibly. All this in the 63rd episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 63: Hoia-Baciu Forest, Romania.
