  • TPPP 62: Haunted Tombstone: Boothill Graveyard

Tombstone is more than just a movie. Wyatt Earp is more than just a Kurt Russel character. Huckleberries are more than just fruit. This week, we took a trip down to Arizona to visit one of the most infamous towns in the whole of the cowboy times. We went to Tombstone. We allows the Patreons to choose the part of town we do, and they did not disappoint by picking the Boothill Graveyard.

Lisa has a whole slew of reasons as to why this graveyard was made and talks a lot about people that were buried here, rather than the fancier graveyard in the other part of town. Jake regales us with some knife-wielding ghosts that love to creep up on people in the bushes. And Davis gives us the final ballad of Timothy Olyphant and how he possibly saved the whole town.

All that and more in the final episode of the Pioneering West parts of the US. It's been a mighty fine ride, pilgrim, but it's about time we hit the old dusty trail for this theme and move onto the next theme of August. Just like a tumbleweed, we need to move onto the next part of our journey. But we leave you with a crazy jaunt through one of the more haunted graveyards that The Possibly Paranormal Podcast has talked about. TPPP 62: Haunted Tombstone: Boothill Graveyard.

  • TPPP 61: Skinwalker Ranch

Probably the most paranormal place that we have ever talked about headlines our 61st episode! The Skinwalker Ranch in Utah has shows, inspired different research institutions, both private and public, and has perplexed ranchers, scientists, and billionaires alike. And now, allow the stories and history to perplex you, as well.

Lisa tells of a whole rivalry between the native tribes of the Utes and the Navajo that resulted in this land being cursed. Jake tells a span of stories that range from alien to paranormal to downright gut-wrenching. And Davis beings us the third story of Timothy Olyphant and his adventures in Utah.

This episode is a ton and will bring you to the brink of the paranormal world. If you need to listen to any episode, it is this one, as we hit on things that are way more than paranormal.... Possibly. All this on the Possibly Paranormal Podcast and our 61st episode. TPPP 61: Skinwalker Ranch.

  • TPPP 60: St. Elmo, Colorado

Abandoned towns filled with the past memories of what used to be. The western part of the US is filled with them. And so we ventured our way into one of the more well-known and still standing ghost towns in Colorado, St. Elmo. No it is not named for the patron saint of Sesame Street, nor is it named for the 80s movie starring Rob Lowe. No, this town gets it's name from something crazier.

Listen to Lisa give us the history of a family that not only spent all of their lives there, but also stayed around long after the town had ceased to really exist. Listen to Jake tell us stories about how this family continues to live there to this day, getting angry at rule breakers. And listen to Davis as he gives us a quiz surrounding City Slickers and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

This ghost town is only the second of our four part series all on the pioneering times of westward expansion in the United States. Next week's episode involves one of the more infamous cryptids and their supposed location. But, until the, be sure to hear all about this paranormal ghost town.... Possibly. Jake has a story from some paranormal investigators that have experienced some of the craziest stuff. And Davis talks a lot more about his favorite actor from the show Deadwood. You know the one.

Pioneering the west, manifest destiny, and the lawlessness of the cowboys and outlaws are coming in the month of July. Davis is excited and you should be too. They took us all the way to Japan for Gulliver's Kingdom Amusement Park.

Lisa tells us all about two of the worst neighbors that pretty much ever could be surrounding this amusement park. Jake tells us all about some of the creatures that can be seen on the horizon of a forest that has become infamous. And Davis hits us with a Missy Elliot joke that he's still thinking about.

Next week, we start our trek out west, to the haunted parts of the pioneering age of America. Davis is excited and you should be too. And now, come with us further west to the country of Japan in our 58th episode. TPPP 58: Gulliver's Kingdom Amusement Park, Japan.

  • TPPP 57: Dadipark, Belgium

The rides just keep on coming! This time, we hit the roller coaster all the way to Europe. More specifically, Belgium! Dadipark is an amusement park created for children to occupy them while the parents went off and did their thing. In a lot of ways, it was that weird little park on the side of the mall where parents just want to shop without worrying about their kid. And thus, Dadipark was created.

Lisa tells us all about the origins of the park and its interesting connection to parents on a trip to their mecca of sorts. Jake regales us with a story of a teen that may have never been seen again. And Davis makes a few too many uncomfortable jokes about Belgium. All this and more on this week's episode.

Dadipark is the third and penultimate episode of our Haunted Amusement Park month. The next episode is sure to bring the creeps, as it was chosen by our Patreons! Don't miss this and so much more on the 57th episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. TPPP 57: Dadipark, Belgium!

  • TPPP 56: Disneyland, California

The happiest place on Earth! Or is it? We hope you brought your tickets then some more money to buy the 16 dollar churros, because today, we're taking a trip to Anaheim, California. All the way to a place that Mickey and Minnie knowingly haunt, but maybe there are other entities that make this amusement park their home. That's right, just like somebody that won their sports highest honor, we're going to Disneyland!

We all know about some of the big rumors that surround this amusement park. The frozen heads and bones in different rides and the entirety of the "It's a Small World Ride," but there are some other things that very few of us are aware of. Lisa has a few stories of people doing some very questionable things with ashes. Jake scared us with some stories, including a little girl ghost and a solo security guard. Davis quizzes us all on shows from Disney and other children's networks.

This may be the happiest place on Earth, but just like us humans, happy things always come with a little bit of spooky, scary, and strange. We explore that and so much more in this week's episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast, TPPP 56: Disneyland, California.

  • TPPP 55: Abandoned Six Flags, New Orleans

Do you hear it? The creepy music in a minor key and just a little too slow? The children laughing, but without a person to be seen? Amusement park rides that sound like they are working without being functional? That's all what we are going to hear in the Amusement Park Month of TPPP. We start the theme with the abandoned Six Flags in New Orleans.

Lisa will tell us all about a jazz-themed amusement park that filled this spot before Six Flags cam in. Jake has a story that leave even the most thrill-seeking of us wondering why we took the risk. And Davis has way too many stories about some of the weirdest amusement park rides from the biggest amusement parks that you have to hear to believe.

The amusement parks are meant for fun, but sometimes too much laughing leads to the paranormal. You're not going to want to miss this month and these episodes. They might make you rethink that roller coaster. All this on the latest episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast, TPPP 55: Abandoned Six Flags, New Orleans.

  • TPPP 54: Cryptids: Guai Wu and Sky Serpents

We are all aware of the cryptids here in the west. Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, El Chupacabra. All the monsters that we hear stories about, but do you know about the elusive Guai Wu in a northern lake in China? Or have you ever seen a giant sky serpent unleashing flames and electricity in the sky? Well, these are two common Cryptids in the country of China, and we're here to teach you more about them.

The Guai Wu are similar to the Loch Ness Monster. They live in a crater lake and have only been seen from a distance. Some have described them as seals, while others have described them as almost exactly the same as Nessie herself. Either way, their history and possibilities are absolutely amazing.

And the Sky Serpents. Not to be mistaken for Dragons, which serve a completely different purpose in Chinese legend. The wriggling and writhing beast make their way through the sky and sometimes have been know to be the harbinger of bad things to come.

Both of these cryptids and their history with China are the main topics of our 54th episode. That and oh so much more on TPPP 54: Cryptids: Guai Wu and Sky Serpents. Don't miss out on the final episode of Haunted China! And catch what our next theme is going to be, too!

Well, if the name doesn't alert you to what this episode is going to be, then let us tell you it all here. The Caishikou Execution Grounds, right in the heart of one of the biggest cities in the world, Beijing. This seemingly innocuous intersection that holds a lot of shopping locations, a vegetable market, and a pharmacy, was also the sight of some of the more grizzly things to happen in Beijing, mostly to criminal convicted of treason.

This week's episode features Lisa going into depth on what exactly happened to those convicted of treason. Jake regales us with stories of ghosts that are seen in full daylight, but without their full body. And Davis gives us fun facts about the Olympics, since Beijing is the only city to have hosted both the summer and the winter.

This episode is our penultimate for Haunted China. We've had an amazing and interesting time learning about this culture that we knew so little about and continue to, even after a two-month stint.
