North Carolina’s last regular season hope of a quality win laid in the balance deep into the second half against the Duke Blue Devils, but the Tar Heels ran out of gas and could not hold the line before losing 82-69 on RJ Davis’ senior night. Davis led the Heels with 20 points but a six-point Carolina lead turned into a quick deficit when the team’s leader headed to the bench for an extended rest.
