  • 23-134 A Love Letter From God

    My Beloved Child,

In Isaiah 58:3, the people of Israel asked, "We have fasted before you! Why aren't you impressed? We have been very hard on ourselves, and you don't even notice it!" I want you to understand that your relationship with Me goes beyond religious rituals and practices. While there are times when I call you to fast, pray, and discipline yourselves, these acts should never be seen as a way to earn My favor or attention. My love for you is not based on your performance but on the condition of your heart.

Thank you for reading My Reasons To Believe. This post is public so feel free to share it.

My dearest one, I did not create you for mere servitude. I have countless angels who serve Me, but what I desire from you is a unique and deeply personal connection that transcends all other relationships. I have humbled Myself and exalted you in order to create a space where our hearts can meet and we can share a mutual, meaningful interaction. I long for intimate partners, not groveling, slaves.

Embrace your true identity and purpose, and understand the relationship I desire with you. When you do, you will find that My words resonate within your spirit, and our hearts will become one. Let go of the notion that you must impress Me, and simply open your heart to the depth of My love.

I hear your longing for a deeper connection. May you find solace in knowing that I am always here, ready to receive you with open arms. Open your heart to Me, and let us journey together in love and unity.

    With boundless love,

    God, your Everlasting Father

Hey everyone, welcome to "The Power of God's Whisper Podcast"! I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're exploring Jeremiah 18:2, where God sends Jeremiah to the potter's house to receive a message. We'll discuss how God uses visual illustrations to teach us and how we can be more aware of these lessons in our daily lives. So, let's dive into this fascinating passage and discover how to see God's message in the world around us.

Thank you for reading My Reasons To Believe. This post is public so feel free to share it.

Study Point 1: A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

God chose to communicate His message to Jeremiah through a visual illustration because images can often convey truth more effectively than words. By watching the potter at work, Jeremiah could better understand the powerful message that God, the master potter, can reshape His people as He sees fit.

Study Point 2: Learning to See God's Illustrations

To receive God's visual messages, we need to be attentive to the world around us. This means being present, observant, and open to the illustrations God provides. As we learn to recognize these spiritual truths in our everyday lives, we'll grow in our understanding of God's message for us.

Study Point 3: Everyday Life Comes Alive with God's Voice

When we ask God to teach us through the visual illustrations in our lives, He answers. By staying spiritually tuned in, we can gain insights and understanding that would otherwise go unnoticed. As a result, our everyday lives become richer and more meaningful as we experience God's voice in new ways.

    Conclusion:

Jeremiah 18:2 demonstrates how God uses visual illustrations to convey His message. As we learn to recognize these lessons in our daily lives, we can grow in our understanding of God's truth and experience His voice in new and powerful ways.

[Agabus] came over, took Paul’s belt, and bound his own feet and hands with it. Then he said, “The Holy Spirit declares, ‘So shall the owner of this belt be bound by the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem and turned over to the Gentiles.’” ACTS 21:11

    Point 2: God's Sovereignty

Despite the warning from Agabus, Paul continued on his journey to Jerusalem. This shows us that sometimes, God's will might involve facing trials and difficulties. In these situations, we can find assurance in knowing that God is sovereign and in control of our circumstances.

    Point 3: Seeking God's Guidance

When we receive prophetic warnings or insights, it's essential to seek God's guidance and wisdom in how to respond. Through prayer and discernment, we can determine the best course of action and trust that God will be with us in whatever challenges we face.

    Conclusion:

Acts 21:11 teaches us that navigating prophetic warnings can be complex, but we can trust in God's sovereignty and seek His guidance in our decisions. As we face trials and challenges in our lives, let's remember to lean on God's wisdom and trust that He is in control of our circumstances.

Hey everyone, and welcome to "The Power of God's Whisper Podcast"! I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're going to explore the powerful story in 2 Samuel 12:1, where God sends Nathan the prophet to help King David face the truth. You see, sometimes we can get stuck in denial and need a wake-up call to realize our mistakes. And God knows just how to reach us, using stories that speak directly to our hearts. So, let's dive into this amazing story and discover how God can break through our barriers and help us see the truth.

Thank you for reading My Reasons To Believe. This post is public so feel free to share it.

Point 1: God Knows Our Hearts

David was in deep denial about his sins, but God knew what was hidden in his heart. God understands us better than we understand ourselves, and He knows exactly how to speak to us in a way that will make an impact.

Point 2: God Uses the Language of Our Hearts

God is the ultimate communicator. He knows our backgrounds and interests and uses them to speak to us. Just like how He used a story about sheep to reach David, who was once a shepherd, God will use stories and metaphors that resonate with us to get our attention.

Point 3: Breaking Through Barriers with Sympathy

God doesn't just lecture us; He provokes our sympathies and stirs up our emotions to help us see the truth. When we're struggling to face reality, God can use the circumstances in our lives and the stories we hear to help us confront our mistakes and grow.

    Conclusion:

It's truly amazing how God can use stories that speak to our hearts to help us see the truth and learn from our mistakes. By understanding our backgrounds and interests, God can communicate with us in ways that break through our barriers and guide us toward growth.

  • 23-128 Believe and Don't Doubt: The Power of Faith in Hearing God's Voice

Welcome to The Power of God's Whisper Podcast, where we dive deep into understanding the importance of hearing God's voice in our lives. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today, we're going to explore James 1:6, which teaches us about the crucial role of faith when we ask for God's wisdom. So many people struggle with doubt and second-guessing, which can hinder our ability to truly hear God's guidance. Let's dive into this powerful verse and learn how to strengthen our faith, so we can fully experience God's wisdom and direction in our lives.

Thank you for reading My Reasons To Believe. This post is public so feel free to share it.

Point 1: Genuine Prayer Must Be Accompanied by Faith

When we approach God with our requests, we need to believe that He will answer us. Doubt only weakens our ability to receive His wisdom, leaving us confused and disconnected from His voice.

Point 2: Overcoming the Patterns of Doubt

We must recognize the patterns of doubt that prevent us from fully hearing God's voice. By focusing on our faith and trusting in God's guidance, we can break free from the cycle of second-guessing and experience a deeper connection with Him.

Point 3: God's Desire for Deep, Relational Communication

God wants to communicate with us in deeply relational ways, not just through a distant, thundering voice from heaven. By nurturing our relationship with Him and believing in His presence, we can fully embrace the wisdom and guidance He offers.

    Conclusion:

It's clear that faith plays a crucial role in our ability to hear God's voice. When we ask for His wisdom, we must believe and not doubt, allowing ourselves to fully receive His guidance. By strengthening our faith and trusting in God's love for us, we can experience the incredible power of His whisper in our lives.

    Call to Action:

Are you ready to take the next step in your faith journey? Start by committing to spend time in prayer each day, asking for God's wisdom and guidance, and believing that He will answer you. • 23-127 A Love Letter From God

    My Beloved Child,

In Isaiah 45:24, it is written that "The people will declare, 'The LORD is the source of all my righteousness and strength.' And all who were angry with him will come to him and be ashamed." I am aware of the times when you feel anger or frustration towards Me, and I want you to know that I understand the limitations of your human perspective.

In this world, you may face confusion, doubt, and pain, but always remember that My love and goodness never waver. I am constantly working for your benefit, even when it seems as if I am far away. There is an enemy who seeks to distort your perception of Me, to spread lies and deceit, leading you away from the truth.

Your challenge, My dear one, is to see beyond the lies and to trust in My goodness, regardless of the circumstances you face or the arguments you hear. Like your first parents, you too face darkness and deception, but through faith and trust in Me, you can overcome these trials.

I value your trust more than your understanding, for it is through trust that you can truly experience My love and guidance. In time, you will see the fullness of My plan and the depths of My love for you. You will joyfully proclaim that I am the source of your righteousness and strength.

So, My child, hold on to your faith in the midst of darkness and trust in My unchanging love and goodness. For one day, you will stand in the light of My presence, and all your doubts and fears will be washed away.

    With unfailing love,

    God, your Everlasting Father

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we explore how to listen and respond to God's voice. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're focusing on Luke 6:49, a verse that reminds us of the importance of not only hearing God's voice but also obeying His commands. "Anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation." Let's dive into three key points to consider as we learn how to approach God's voice with a heart ready to obey and a commitment to act on His guidance.

Thank you for reading My Reasons To Believe. This post is public so feel free to share it.

In today's discussion, we'll explore the importance of embracing God's guidance, the responsibility that comes with hearing His voice, and the power of obedience in building a solid foundation for our lives.

Point 1: The importance of embracing God's guidance

When we hear God's voice, we must be prepared to follow His wisdom and direction. This commitment to obedience is essential for a strong relationship with God and for building a life grounded in His truth.

Point 2: The responsibility of hearing God's voice

Hearing God's voice comes with a sobering responsibility. Once we've heard His guidance on a particular issue, we must choose to either embrace His wisdom or turn our backs on Him. This choice can have significant consequences for our spiritual lives.

Point 3: The power of obedience in building a solid foundation

Obedience to God's voice is the foundation upon which we build our lives. By committing to follow His guidance, we create a strong, stable, and lasting relationship with Him.

    Conclusion:

As we seek to hear God's voice, let us remember the importance of embracing His guidance and the responsibility that comes with hearing His voice. By choosing to obey God's commands, we build a solid foundation for our lives, one that will withstand the challenges and trials we may face.

  • 23-125 Boldness in Adversity: Lessons from Acts 4:29-30

Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” Acts 4:29-30

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we explore how to listen and respond to God's voice. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're discussing Acts 4:29-30, which reminds us that God's power is often most visible during times of persecution and adversity. "O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus." Let's dive into three key points to consider as we learn how to trust God and boldly share His message during difficult times.

Throughout history, Christians have faced persecution and challenges, but even in the midst of these struggles, God's power and presence have remained strong. Today, we'll talk about how God empowers us to be bold in our faith, especially when we face adversity, and how His miraculous work often becomes even more evident during tough times.

Point 1: Persecution and God's work often go hand in hand

In times of persecution and difficulty, God's presence and power often become even more evident. As Christians face greater challenges, they also experience more encounters with God, clearer direction, and new strategies for sharing His message.

Point 2: Boldness in times of distress

God gives His servants greater boldness during times of distress. As we face adversity, we can trust that He will provide the strength and courage we need to continue sharing His word with others.

Point 3: God meets us in the middle of our hardships

As we endure hardships, God is with us, comforting and calming us with His presence and His voice. He is our ever-present help in times of need and gives us everything we need to follow Him faithfully.

    Conclusion:

In the midst of adversity, we can trust God to empower us with boldness and to make His presence and power more evident than ever. As we continue to share His message and rely on His strength, we can experience the miraculous signs and wonders He promises.

    Call to Action:

This week, as you face challenges and adversity, remember to turn to God for strength and boldness. Pray for the courage to share His message and trust that He will meet you in the midst of your hardships. Share your experiences with friends or family members, and encourage one another to rely on God's power and presence in every situation.

Thank you for joining us on "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast." If you enjoyed this episode, please share it with others and subscribe for more discussions on hearing and responding to God's voice. Until next time, may you boldly trust God's power and presence, even in the face of adversity.
