Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we dive into the art of listening and responding to God's voice. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today, we're focusing on 1 Corinthians 12:7, NIV: "To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good." In this episode, we'll explore the importance of our relationships with others in hearing God's voice and experiencing His nature. We'll look at three detailed points to consider as we embrace the interdependence God designed within the body of Christ. Let's get started!
While spending time alone with God is vital, it's essential to remember that our relationship with Him is also meant to be experienced through our connections with others. By engaging with fellow believers, we can learn from their journeys, share our own experiences, and ultimately deepen our understanding of God's heart.
Point 1: Acknowledge our interdependence
God designed us to be interdependent, meaning we need each other to fully experience His nature and hear His voice. Acknowledging our interdependence helps us appreciate the unique gifts, experiences, and perspectives that others bring to our spiritual journey.
Point 2: Value the diversity of spiritual gifts
Each person has been given different spiritual gifts by the Holy Spirit. Embrace this diversity and recognize the value in others' gifts. This will not only enrich your spiritual life but also help you to better understand God's multifaceted nature and hear His voice in new ways.
Point 3: Engage in community and fellowship
God's voice is often heard through our connections with others. Engage in community and fellowship by attending church, joining small groups, or participating in service projects. By connecting with fellow believers, we create opportunities for God to speak to us through their experiences and insights.
Conclusion:
Our connections with others play a vital role in our ability to hear and understand God's voice. Embracing interdependence, valuing the diversity of spiritual gifts, and engaging in community and fellowship will help us experience God's nature more fully and grow in our understanding of His will.
Call to Action:
This week, make an effort to strengthen your connections with fellow believers. Reach out to a friend, attend a church service, or join a small group where you can share your experiences and learn from others. As you engage with fellow believers, pay attention to how God speaks through their experiences and insights, and share your own journey as well. May your understanding of God's voice grow as you embrace the interdependence He designed within the body of Christ.

My Beloved Child,
As it is written in Isaiah 45:7, "I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the LORD, am the one who does these things." I want you to know that the ebb and flow of life, the highs and lows, are all part of My divine plan for your growth and development.
In this world, you will experience seasons of joy and seasons of sorrow, moments of clarity and moments of confusion. Just as nature follows a rhythm of change, so too must you adapt and grow through the cycles of life. Remember, My dear one, that I am always with you, guiding you through each season, be it darkness or light.
In the times when you feel lost or alone, when My presence seems distant, do not lose heart. These moments are designed to strengthen your faith and deepen your reliance on Me. Through your hunger and yearning for My presence, you will discover your truest desires and the path that leads to Me.
Trust in Me, My beloved, and know that I am working in every situation to bring about your growth and transformation. Do not let worry or fear consume you, for they have no place in My Kingdom. Instead, rest in My love and embrace the journey I have set before you, knowing that each season brings with it a new opportunity to draw closer to Me.
As you navigate the changing seasons of life, remember that My love for you is constant and unchanging. Let the lessons of the darkness strengthen your faith, and hold onto the promises I have spoken to you in the light. For I am your loving Father, and I will guide you through every trial and triumph until you are fully united with Me in My everlasting love.
Yours always,
God, your Faithful Father

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we explore the art of listening and responding to God's voice. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today, we're focusing on Revelation 1:10, NKJV: "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard..." In this episode, we'll discuss the importance of cultivating a deep, worshipful relationship with God to better hear His voice. We'll also look at three ways to strengthen our connection with Him. Let's get started!
John's experience in Revelation 1:10 highlights the significance of deep, worshipful communion with God when it comes to hearing His voice. A meaningful relationship with God creates an environment where we are more likely to recognize His voice, just as we recognize the voices of those we spend the most time with.
Point 1: Prioritize regular prayer and worship
To hear God's voice more clearly, make prayer and worship a priority in your life. Set aside dedicated time each day for these practices, and don't be afraid to get creative with how you worship, whether through music, art or simply enjoying nature.
Point 2: Rest in God's presence
Sometimes, it's in moments of stillness and rest that we can hear God's voice most clearly. Make time to be still and quiet in His presence, allowing Him to speak to your heart without distractions or interruptions.
Point 3: Develop a heart of gratitude
Cultivating a grateful heart can help us maintain a close relationship with God. By regularly expressing gratitude for His blessings and guidance, we demonstrate our trust in His goodness and open ourselves up to hearing His voice more clearly.
Conclusion:
In Revelation 1:10, John's deep communion with God allowed him to hear the Lord's voice. Likewise, as we prioritize prayer, worship, rest, and gratitude, we create an environment in which we're more likely to recognize God's voice. This deepened relationship with God is essential for our spiritual growth and understanding.
Call to Action:
This week, focus on deepening your relationship with God by setting aside time for prayer, worship, rest, and gratitude. Reflect on the ways these practices help you hear His voice more clearly and share your experiences with a friend or family member. As you draw closer to God, may you be more in tune with His voice, experiencing the power of His whisper in your life.

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we explore the art of listening and responding to God's voice. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're discussing James 4:8: "Come close to God, and God will come close to you." In this episode, we'll delve into the deeper aspects of God's communication that go beyond words and images, and how we can cultivate this heart-to-heart connection with Him. Let's dive in!
Point 1: Recognizing the presence of God in our lives
Just like Amy Carmichael in India, we too can experience a growing sense of God's presence in our daily lives. To nurture this awareness, spend time in prayer and meditation, asking God to reveal Himself to you. Be intentional about recognizing the small, everyday moments where God may be speaking or guiding you, and make a conscious effort to invite His presence into your life.
Point 2: Embracing God's voice that transcends words and images
God's communication with us often goes beyond words or pictures. He has a unique way of making His heartbeat known to those whose hearts are inclined toward His. To embrace this deeper form of communication, practice listening to the still, small voice within you. Pay attention to the feelings, impressions, or convictions that arise when you are in prayer or quiet contemplation. Trust that God speaks in various ways, and be open to receiving His guidance beyond conventional means.
Point 3: Yielding to God's impulses and love
In the presence of God, we should yield our hearts to His impulses and accept that His love is indescribable and beyond understanding. This heart-to-heart connection allows us to embrace the profound work God is doing within us. To cultivate this connection, practice surrendering your will and desires to God, and trust in His divine plan for your life. As you yield to God's impulses and love, you'll find yourself experiencing a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him.
In conclusion, James 4:8 encourages us to draw close to God and experience a deeper, heart-to-heart connection with Him. By recognizing His presence, embracing His communication beyond words, and yielding to His impulses and love, we can grow in our relationship with Him and understand His love for the world.
Now, for our call to action: This week, make a conscious effort to deepen your heart-to-heart connection with God. Set aside time each day for prayer and meditation, and be intentional about recognizing His presence in your daily life. Practice listening for His voice beyond words and images, and yield your heart to His loving guidance.

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we explore the art of listening and responding to God's voice. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're diving into Matthew 11:25, NKJV: “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.” In this episode, we'll discuss how Jesus continuously conversed with God and how we can aspire to do the same. Let's get started!
Point 1: Jesus' continuous conversation with God
Jesus seemingly had an ongoing dialogue with God the Father, even amidst life's distractions. This continuous conversation is an essential aspect of Jesus' relationship with God, and it serves as an example for us to follow.
Point 2: Our hearts often speak to God
We can relate to Paul's instruction to "never stop praying" (1 Thessalonians 5:17) as we often find ourselves conversing with God during various moments throughout the day. However, hearing from God consistently is a challenge that many of us face, as we don't want to be presumptuous.
Point 3: Striving for consistent communication with God
As followers of Jesus, our goal is to develop a continuous conversation with God, cutting through the noise of our environment and our thoughts. By focusing on God's voice, our prayers can lead us to a deeper level of fellowship with Him.
In conclusion, Matthew 11:25, NKJV, teaches us the importance of maintaining a continuous conversation with God, just as Jesus did. By aspiring to hear and respond to God's voice consistently, we can strengthen our relationship with Him and grow in our faith.
Now, for our call to action: This week, take some time to reflect on your communication with God. Are there moments in your day when you can intentionally listen for His voice? Try setting aside a few minutes each day to focus on God's whispers and make an effort to respond to what He is saying. Remember, developing a continuous conversation with God is an essential aspect of our spiritual growth.

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we learn to listen and respond to God's voice. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're exploring 1 Corinthians 1:25: "This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans." We'll discuss the importance of embracing God's wisdom, even when it seems foolish, and how doing so can lead to a life filled with divine adventure. Let's dive in!
Point 1: God's wisdom vs. human wisdom
God's wisdom often appears foolish in the eyes of the world, but it's far superior to our own understanding. While human wisdom may seem logical and practical, it often falls short of what God has planned. Embracing God's wisdom means trusting in His divine guidance, even when it goes against our own reasoning.
Point 2: Following God's surprising, counterintuitive direction
God sometimes gives us seemingly foolish instructions to test our faith and obedience. Whether it's Moses' mission to Pharaoh or Joshua's strategy at Jericho, the Bible is filled with examples of God's unconventional wisdom. By trusting and following His direction, we become part of His divine plan and experience His supernatural power.
Point 3: Living a supernatural life through a relationship with God
Our deepest desire is not for wisdom or principles but for a personal relationship with God. By listening to His voice and following His guidance, we can experience a supernatural life filled with divine adventure. This means being open to embracing God's "absurdities," which are only absurd from our limited perspective.
In conclusion, 1 Corinthians 1:25 teaches us the importance of embracing God's wisdom, even when it appears foolish. By trusting in His divine guidance and following His direction, we can experience a life filled with supernatural adventure and divine purpose.
Now, for our call to action: This week, take some time to reflect on areas of your life where you may be relying on your own wisdom instead of seeking God's guidance. Ask God to reveal His wisdom to you and be open to following His direction, even if it seems foolish or counterintuitive. Remember, it's through embracing God's wisdom that we truly experience a supernatural life.

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we delve into the ways God speaks to us and how to tune into His divine guidance. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and in this episode, we'll be discussing 2 Chronicles 20:14-15 and the story of King Jehoshaphat. We'll examine the importance of recognizing and trusting in God's voice, even in times of uncertainty. So, let's dive in!
Point 1: Responding to God's voice in the midst of a crisis
In times of crisis, like when Judah was being invaded, it's crucial to seek God's guidance and direction. King Jehoshaphat called for a fast and sought God's help, demonstrating the importance of turning to God in our own moments of struggle and vulnerability.
Point 2: Trusting the unexpected messengers
When the Spirit of the Lord came upon a man in the crowd, King Jehoshaphat trusted and believed in the message he received, even though the man wasn't a well-known prophet. This teaches us that God can speak through anyone, and we need to be open to the possibility that His voice may come from unexpected sources.
Point 3: Taking steps of faith even without guarantees
King Jehoshaphat chose to believe in the prophecy and acted on it, even without a guarantee that it was truly from God. This bold act of faith shows us the importance of trusting in God's guidance, even when there's no absolute certainty. By taking steps of faith, we demonstrate our trust in God and open ourselves up to His blessings and protection.
In conclusion, 2 Chronicles 20:14-15 highlights the significance of recognizing and trusting in God's voice during uncertain times. By seeking His guidance, being open to unexpected messengers, and taking steps of faith, we can strengthen our relationship with God and experience His power in our lives.
Now, for our call to action: This week, practice tuning into God's voice in your daily life. Pay attention to the thoughts, feelings, and situations that may be God's way of guiding you. Also, remember to be open to unexpected messengers and be willing to take steps of faith, even when you aren't absolutely certain of the outcome.

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we explore the ways God communicates with us and how we can grow closer to Him. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today, we'll be discussing 2 Kings 3:15: "Now bring me someone who can play the harp." We'll delve into the significance of this passage and how it relates to hearing God's voice through music. So, let's get started!
Point 1: Calming the turbulence of our souls
In the midst of chaos and confusion, it can be difficult to hear God's voice. Elisha, a great prophet, understood this and called for a harpist to help him quiet the turmoil of his own soul. When we too create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, we are better able to tune into God's whispers.
Point 2: Using Music to Connect With God
Music has the unique ability to transport us to another place and help us focus our minds on something greater. By incorporating music into our times of prayer and reflection, we can create a deeper connection with God and open ourselves up to His guidance and wisdom.
Point 3: The divine connection between music and God's voice
Music is more than just a tool to help us relax or focus; it can serve as a conduit for God's truth to flow into our lives. As we listen to the sounds that resonate with our hearts, we may find ourselves more in tune with God's voice and better equipped to receive His direction.
In conclusion, 2 Kings 3:15 reminds us of the power of music in facilitating divine communication. By calming our souls and incorporating music into our spiritual practices, we can position ourselves to hear God's voice more clearly and effectively.
Now for our call to action: This week, try incorporating music into your prayer and meditation time. Experiment with different genres and styles to see what resonates with you and helps you connect with God. As you do this, pay attention to the ways in which music enhances your ability to hear His voice and receive His guidance.
Thank you for joining us on "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast." Let’s Pray…Lord, my emotions, anxious thoughts, mental strategies, and momentary moods often block my listening ear, and music removes the blocks. When I surround myself with the language of instruments and rhythm, let it open my spirit to hear the language of Your heart.

My Beloved Child,
In the tenderness of My heart, I long to remind you of the depth of My love for you. In Isaiah 44:22, I have said, "I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free." It is My deepest desire for you to embrace the grace and love that I so freely offer.
You may feel unworthy or inadequate, believing that I could never speak to you or that you could never hear My voice. But remember My dear one, it is not about being perfect or deserving; it is about My love and grace, which knows no bounds. I have seen your heart, and I know your struggles, and yet, I love you just the same.
My child, there is no need to be burdened by guilt, shame, or fear. I have already paid the ultimate price for your freedom, and I invite you to come and rest in My embrace. You need not strive or struggle to earn My love, for it is a gift that I freely give to you. The only thing I ask of you is to trust in Me and open your heart to receive My love and grace.
Do not let doubt or disbelief keep you from experiencing the intimacy and joy of a relationship with Me. For I am not a distant God, but a loving Father who desires to be close to His children. When you draw near to Me, I will draw near to you, and I will reveal Myself to you in ways that you never thought possible.
So, come to Me, My beloved, with a heart filled with faith and hope. Do not be afraid to draw near, for I am here, waiting to welcome you with open arms. Together, we will embark on a beautiful journey of love and growth, as you learn to trust in My unfailing love and immerse yourself in the grace that I so freely bestow upon you.
Forever Yours,
God, your Loving Father
