Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we explore the ways God communicates with us and how we can grow closer to Him. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today, we'll be discussing 2 Kings 3:15: "Now bring me someone who can play the harp." We'll delve into the significance of this passage and how it relates to hearing God's voice through music. So, let's get started!
Point 1: Calming the turbulence of our souls
In the midst of chaos and confusion, it can be difficult to hear God's voice. Elisha, a great prophet, understood this and called for a harpist to help him quiet the turmoil of his own soul. When we too create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, we are better able to tune into God's whispers.
Point 2: Using Music to Connect With God
Music has the unique ability to transport us to another place and help us focus our minds on something greater. By incorporating music into our times of prayer and reflection, we can create a deeper connection with God and open ourselves up to His guidance and wisdom.
Point 3: The divine connection between music and God's voice
Music is more than just a tool to help us relax or focus; it can serve as a conduit for God's truth to flow into our lives. As we listen to the sounds that resonate with our hearts, we may find ourselves more in tune with God's voice and better equipped to receive His direction.
In conclusion, 2 Kings 3:15 reminds us of the power of music in facilitating divine communication. By calming our souls and incorporating music into our spiritual practices, we can position ourselves to hear God's voice more clearly and effectively.
Now for our call to action: This week, try incorporating music into your prayer and meditation time. Experiment with different genres and styles to see what resonates with you and helps you connect with God. As you do this, pay attention to the ways in which music enhances your ability to hear His voice and receive His guidance.
Thank you for joining us on "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast." Let’s Pray…Lord, my emotions, anxious thoughts, mental strategies, and momentary moods often block my listening ear, and music removes the blocks. When I surround myself with the language of instruments and rhythm, let it open my spirit to hear the language of Your heart.

My Beloved Child,
In the tenderness of My heart, I long to remind you of the depth of My love for you. In Isaiah 44:22, I have said, "I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free." It is My deepest desire for you to embrace the grace and love that I so freely offer.
You may feel unworthy or inadequate, believing that I could never speak to you or that you could never hear My voice. But remember My dear one, it is not about being perfect or deserving; it is about My love and grace, which knows no bounds. I have seen your heart, and I know your struggles, and yet, I love you just the same.
My child, there is no need to be burdened by guilt, shame, or fear. I have already paid the ultimate price for your freedom, and I invite you to come and rest in My embrace. You need not strive or struggle to earn My love, for it is a gift that I freely give to you. The only thing I ask of you is to trust in Me and open your heart to receive My love and grace.
Do not let doubt or disbelief keep you from experiencing the intimacy and joy of a relationship with Me. For I am not a distant God, but a loving Father who desires to be close to His children. When you draw near to Me, I will draw near to you, and I will reveal Myself to you in ways that you never thought possible.
So, come to Me, My beloved, with a heart filled with faith and hope. Do not be afraid to draw near, for I am here, waiting to welcome you with open arms. Together, we will embark on a beautiful journey of love and growth, as you learn to trust in My unfailing love and immerse yourself in the grace that I so freely bestow upon you.
Forever Yours,
God, your Loving Father

Welcome to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast," where we explore the ways in which God speaks to us and how to embrace His guidance in our lives. I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today, we're diving into Exodus 3:2: "The angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush." We'll be discussing this powerful moment and the lessons we can learn from it. Let's get started!
Point 1: When God speaks clearly, there's a greater demand for obedience.
Moses encountered God in a burning bush, and there was no mistaking the message or instructions he received. When God speaks so unmistakably, He expects us to follow His guidance wholeheartedly. Are you ready to answer His call?
Point 2: With greater clarity comes greater responsibility.
We might wish for God's voice to be crystal clear in our lives, but we must also understand that this clarity comes with a greater burden. When God reveals His will to us in an unmistakable way, it often means He is placing us in challenging situations that require courage and commitment. Are you prepared to accept the responsibility that comes with truly hearing His voice?
Point 3: Exceptional encounters with God lead to exceptional destinies.
When we yearn for God's voice, it's essential to recognize what this longing will lead to: greater hearing and, as a result, much greater responsibility. Embracing an exceptional encounter with God means stepping into an exceptional destiny, one that will demand our full dedication and trust.
In conclusion, as we reflect on Exodus 3:2, we must remember that when God speaks with clarity, He also places a higher demand on our obedience and responsibility. If we truly desire to hear His voice and follow His guidance, we must be prepared to embrace the challenges and expectations that come with it.
Now, for our call to action: Spend some time in prayer this week, asking God to reveal His will to you. As you listen, be ready to embrace the responsibilities that come with hearing His voice. Remember, when we answer His call, we're not only deepening our relationship with Him but also stepping into the exceptional destinies He has planned for us.
Let’s Pray…Lord, I know the costs of hearing You are high, but I still want to encounter You. I am willing to face the responsibility of knowing Your will.

Hey everyone, welcome to "The Power of God's Whisper Podcast." I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're talking about a powerful verse that teaches us the importance of encouraging one another: 1 Thessalonians 5:11. It says, "Encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing." Let's explore how God's voice works through us to uplift others, especially when they need it the most. Whether you're 14 or 40, this message is for you! So, let's dive in and see how God's whisper can help us grow and support each other.
Point 1: First, remember that we're all part of the body of Christ.
God designed us to work together, helping and supporting each other in our faith journey. When someone is struggling or seeking guidance, we can step in and offer encouragement, helping them to hear God's voice in their lives. It's an opportunity for us to grow closer to one another and to God.
Point 2: Second, don't be afraid to ask
Second, don't be afraid to ask God for guidance when it comes to supporting others. When you pray for someone, ask the Lord to show you mental pictures or impressions that might encourage them. God knows their hearts and can reveal what they need to hear through your words or actions. By being open to God's direction, we can become instruments of His love and care for others.
Point 3: It's essential to remember…
Lastly, it's essential to remember that the Holy Spirit knows our needs and can inspire us to build each other up. When we rely on God's guidance, we can provide encouragement that truly resonates with those around us. It's not about having all the answers but being willing to listen and share God's love with one another.
Conclusion:
So, as we wrap up today's episode, let's remember the power of encouragement that comes from listening to God's whispers. By supporting and uplifting each other, we can grow stronger in our faith and help others along the way. Let's strive to be a community that actively builds one another up, just as 1 Thessalonians 5:11 teaches us.
Call to Action:
Now, I want to challenge you to take action. This week, reach out to someone in your life who may need encouragement. Ask God to guide you in what to say or do, and then take that step to uplift them. As you do this, you'll not only strengthen their faith but also grow in your own relationship with God. And don't forget to share your experience with us! We'd love to hear how God's whispers are making a difference in your life and the lives of those around you.
Let’s Pray…Holy Spirit, use the screen of my imagination to write Your will, impress Your thoughts, and draw Your pictures. Speak into the hearts of Your people through me.

Welcome back to "The Power of God's Whisper" podcast! I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're diving into Genesis 12:4, where we read, "So Abram departed as the LORD had instructed." In this verse, Abram takes a leap of faith and obeys God's call. We'll explore three key points that will help us understand the importance of faith in listening to and following God's voice, especially for believers seeking to discern God's guidance in their lives.
Point 1: The Willingness to Follow.
God must have seen a willingness in Abram to follow His voice before speaking to him. Abram had a choice: he could have questioned, ignored, or dismissed the call. However, he chose to act in faith and obey. We, too, must develop a willingness to follow God's guidance, even when it seems unclear or challenging.
Point 2: The Balance Between Faith and Clarity.
God's voice is often clear enough to provide direction but not so definitive as to eliminate the need for faith. This delicate balance encourages us to rely on our faith in God as we navigate life's journey. To hear God's voice, we must be prepared to act on faith, even if we don't have all the answers.
Point 3: The Importance of a Believing Response.
It's not just about our ability to hear God's voice; He also desires a believing response from us. God wants us to willingly follow His lead rather than obeying out of obligation. When we think we've heard His voice, we need to have the courage to move forward and trust in His guidance.
Conclusion:
Genesis 12:4 teaches us the importance of having faith in God's voice and being willing to follow His guidance, even when the path may be uncertain. As believers, we can learn from Abram's example and develop the courage to act on faith, trusting in God's direction for our lives.
Call to Action:
This week, let's focus on cultivating our willingness to follow God's voice, even if it means stepping out in faith. Spend time in prayer, asking God for the courage to trust in His guidance, and share your journey with a friend or family member who can support and encourage you. Don't forget to subscribe to our podcast and share it with your friends, so we can all grow together in our faith and learn to listen for God's whispers in our lives.
Let’s Pray…Lord, I don’t want to be paralyzed with uncertainty. Help me to follow Your voice even when I have questions. Please direct me as I move forward, and keep me in the middle of Your will.

Welcome to "The Power of God's Whisper" podcast! I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're exploring Genesis 12:1, which says, "The LORD had said to Abram, 'Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father's family, and go to the land that I will show you.'" In this verse, God calls Abram to step out in faith and follow His guidance. We'll examine three key points to help us understand and apply this message to our lives, especially as believers trying to discern God's voice amidst the noise of the world.
Point 1: The Mystery of Hearing God's Voice.
The Bible doesn't provide specifics about how Abram heard God's voice, which might be intentional. When we see details in Scripture, we often turn them into templates, focusing on principles instead of building a relationship with God. By withholding specifics, God encourages us to seek a genuine connection with Him and be open to various ways He may communicate with us.
Point 2: Embracing Different Modes of Expression.
To hear God's voice, we must be open to the different ways He may speak to us. He might use a friend's words, highlight specific Bible passages, or align circumstances to confirm the inclinations of our Spirit-led hearts. By being receptive to these diverse expressions, we can strengthen our faith in God and move forward with confidence, trusting that He is guiding us.
Point 3: Stepping Out in Faith.
Abram's journey began with a bold step of faith, trusting in God's guidance without knowing the full details of his journey. As believers, we can learn from Abram's example by stepping out in faith and following God's call, even when the path ahead is uncertain. By trusting in God's whispers and guidance, we can embrace the exciting journey He has prepared for us.
Conclusion: Genesis 12:1 teaches us the importance of trusting in God's guidance and being open to different ways He may communicate with us. As believers, we can learn from Abram's example by stepping out in faith, even when the path is unclear. By doing so, we can experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from following God's call in our lives.
Call to Action: This week, let's challenge ourselves to be more open to the ways God may be speaking to us. Spend time in prayer, read the Bible, and share your experiences with a friend or family member, inviting them to join you on this journey of discovering God's whispers. Remember to subscribe to our podcast and share it with your friends, so we can all grow together in our faith and understanding of God's voice.

Welcome, everyone, to "The Power of God's Whisper" podcast! I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we'll explore Proverbs 3:6, which says, "Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." This verse teaches us about the importance of connecting with God and seeking His guidance in our lives. Join me as we dive into three key points that will help us understand and apply this verse to our lives, especially as Christ's followers navigate the challenges of life.
Point 1: The Importance of a Personal Relationship with God.
When God seems distant, some Christians rely only on "sanctified reasoning" to make decisions. But God has given us many ways to communicate with Him, including through prayer, dreams, and visions. He wants us to seek His will in everything and believe that He will direct our paths. To do this, we must build a personal relationship with God. Spend time in prayer, ask Him specific questions, and patiently wait for His answers. This will help you become more sensitive to His voice and guidance in your life.
Point 2: Living by Christian Principles vs. Living by God's Voice.
It's easy to fall into the trap of living by Christian principles without developing a personal relationship with God. While knowing and following these principles is essential, it's not enough. Living by God's voice is much more personal and intimate. By seeking His will in everything you do, you're inviting a deeper connection with God, allowing your faith to grow and experience His guidance on a more profound level.
Point 3: Embracing the Listening Process
God's guidance often comes through whispers and quiet moments. The listening process can be long and intense, but it's designed to draw you closer to Him. Embrace the silence, the uncertainty, and the waiting as opportunities to deepen your relationship with God. In the moments when God seems silent, remember that He is still present and working in your life.
Conclusion:
As we've already discussed, seeking God's will is not just about following a set of rules, but about nurturing a personal relationship with Him. As followers, it's essential to build this relationship and trust in His guidance as we face the many challenges and decisions in our lives. Continue to seek His will in all you do and trust that He will show you the right path.
Call to Action:
Let's challenge ourselves this week to spend more time in prayer and listening for God's voice. Share your experiences with a friend or family member, and encourage them to join you on this journey of deepening your relationship with God. When you seek His will, He will show you the path to take. Remember to subscribe to our podcast and share it with your friends, so we can all grow together in our faith and understanding of God's Word.
Let’s Pray…Lord, I’m seeking Your will in everything, just as You instructed me to do. I want to live without regrets, which means living with a clear vision and purpose. I’ll wait as long as I have to in order to hear You. Please reward my persistence with direction and a deeper knowledge of You.

Welcome to "The Power of God's Whisper" podcast! I'm your host, Matthew Adams, and today we're focusing on Proverbs 3:5, which says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding." This verse teaches us about the importance of trusting God and seeking His guidance in our lives, especially when making important decisions. Let's dive into three key points that will help us understand and apply this verse to our lives, particularly as Christ's followers facing significant choices and challenges.
Point 1: The Importance of Seeking God's Guidance
Some people believe that Christians should rely on their own wisdom and desires when making decisions, rather than spending time discerning God's perfect will. While it's true that God gives us wisdom and desires, this should not be our main approach to decision-making. Proverbs encourages us to trust in God's guidance rather than our own understanding because His will often runs counter to our human thought processes. Throughout the Bible, we see God leading His people in unexpected directions. So, it's essential to seek His guidance, especially in major decisions.
Point 2: Patience and Persistence in Hearing God's Voice
In our fast-paced world, it's easy to become impatient and make decisions based on our own wisdom instead of waiting for God's guidance. But Scripture presents the possibility of hearing God's voice as a normal part of our lives. We must be patient and persistent in seeking His direction. By doing so, we can avoid the regret that often comes from making decisions without His guidance. Remember that God desires to speak to us and lead us, so be willing to wait for His voice, no matter how long it takes.
Point 3: Cultivating a Lifestyle of Trusting God
To truly trust God with all our hearts, we must cultivate a lifestyle of relying on Him. This means continually seeking His guidance and making a conscious effort to let go of our own understanding. By doing this, we can develop a deeper relationship with God and experience the peace that comes from knowing we are following His perfect will.
Conclusion: As we've discussed today, Proverbs 3:5 reminds us of the importance of trusting in God and seeking His guidance in our lives. As believers…navigating the complexities of life, it's crucial that we learn to trust God with all our hearts and not rely solely on our own understanding. By doing so, we can experience the assurance and direction that come from following His perfect will.
Call to Action: This week, let's challenge ourselves to trust God more fully in our decision-making. Spend time in prayer, asking for His guidance and wisdom. Share your experiences with a friend or family member and encourage them to join you in this journey of trusting God more deeply. And don't forget to subscribe to our podcast and share it with your friends, so we can all grow together in our faith and understanding of God's Word.
Let’s Pray…Lord, I don’t want to just do whatever seems right. My understanding is limited, but You know what’s best. I want to hear You clearly and specifically.

My Beloved Child,
From the depths of My eternal heart, I long to pour out My love and Spirit upon you. My love for you is unending, boundless, and unchanging. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and My love knows no limits or boundaries. I desire to share this wondrous love with you, for you are precious in My sight, and My heart yearns for you to experience the fullness of My presence.
As it is written in Isaiah 44:3, "I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children." My promises are everlasting, and I am ever ready to fulfill them in your life. But remember, My precious one, that the outpouring of My Spirit is not limited to a single era or a specific time. My Spirit is available to you at this very moment and for all generations to come.
I know, dear child, that you have questions and doubts about how and when My Spirit will manifest in your life. But trust in Me, for I am the God of the impossible, and I will reveal Myself to you in ways that you cannot even begin to fathom. Open your heart to Me and allow Me to fill you with My love, wisdom, and power. Do not confine Me to your human understanding or limit your expectations of how I will work in your life.
Seek first My Kingdom, and all these things will be added unto you. My Kingdom starts within your heart, and as you grow in intimacy with Me, it will overflow into every aspect of your life. I will not only pour out My Spirit upon you but also equip and empower you to be a conduit of My love and grace to those around you.
Do not be disheartened, My beloved, for I am with you always. Be persistent in your faith and fervent in your pursuit of Me. For as you draw near to Me, I promise to draw near to you. In My presence, you will find the fullness of joy, peace, and love that you so deeply crave.
So, come to Me, My dear one, with an open and expectant heart, ready to receive all that I have in store for you. Together, we will embark on a beautiful journey of love and transformation, as I pour out My Spirit upon you and bless you beyond measure.

Hey there, future prophets! Today, we're going to explore the ever-controversial topic of the prophetic gift. So, buckle up, and let's dive into Acts 21:9, where we learn about Philip's four unmarried daughters who had the gift of prophecy.
* Extra-Biblical Chit-Chat
Some folks argue that prophecy is no longer needed since we've got the complete Bible. But here's the thing – there are loads of instances in the Scripture where God had a little extra-biblical chit-chat with His peeps. You know, those one-on-one conversations that weren't meant to make the holy highlight reel. So, if God was into these divine side convos back in the day, who's to say He's not still chattin' it up with us today?
* God's Hotline for Specific Situations
Throughout the Bible, we see that the prophetic gift came in handy when people needed specific guidance for unique situations. Sure, they had the Hebrew Scripture, but sometimes you need a more tailored approach, like when you're trying to decide if pineapple really belongs on pizza (LOVE. IT.). In any case, God was there, speaking through ordinary folks with prophetic gifts, like Philip's daughters. And if He was doling out divine direction back then, why wouldn't He still be doing it today?
* Embracing the Prophetic Gift Today
Let's face it, the prophetic gift has gotten a bit of a bad rap, but just because it's been misused doesn't mean it's not legit. After all, you don't throw out your whole wardrobe just because you've got a few fashion faux pas hiding in there. We've got the Holy Spirit living within us, helping us apply the Word to our lives and offering up relevant interpretations. So, instead of rejecting the prophetic gift, let's learn to listen for God's voice with discernment and an open heart.
Conclusion:
The prophetic gift, like a divine hotline, is a direct connection between us and God, allowing Him to offer guidance and wisdom for specific situations in our lives. While it's important to hold the Bible as our foundation, we shouldn't discount the value of those extra-biblical chats with the Big Guy upstairs. After all, He's been known to drop some pretty useful nuggets of wisdom when we least expect it.
Call to Action:
Ready to dial into the prophetic gift? Start by opening your heart and mind to the idea that God might have a few extra words of wisdom just for you. As you read the Bible, pay attention to those Holy Spirit nudges and keep your spiritual ears open for any divine guidance. And remember, when it comes to hearing from God, there's no such thing as a busy signal.
Let’s Pray…Holy Spirit, let me hear You. I seek the gift of hearing and telling about what I’ve heard. This is Your promise to us; I accept it wholeheartedly.
