The Public Affair

BÓRICUAS STAND UP!!!! This episode of The Public Affair definitely had a sprinkle of sazón y adobo all over it! Gigi and I had the best time talking about her life growing up and the companions of our life’s circumstances. Through all of her past hardships, Gigi came out of it all to be a BOSS, being one of the highest sought after trainers in Waco! She left no question unanswered and, not much to my surprise, told it how it is! A true QUEEN all day!

This guy right here!!! There’s so much I can say about this guy with a mind full of artistic intellect and professionalism, but I’ll just say he damn sure knows how to entertain an audience! I had the greatest tine getting to know Joe’s upbringing and how he came to be one of the most prominent photographers in town! From selling drugs out of a well known establishment, to catching a picture of our wildest imaginations, Joe is full time with his business Picture this Photography and is making sure he marks his stamp in the city, then the world!

She’s literally a QUEEN in town, who’s gone above and beyond to give back! Even through all that though, Reyna STILL has faced hardships in terms of ridicule and betrayal, and tells us all about it on this exciting episode! Life wasn’t growing up easy, being immigrants from Mexico and her father being an alcoholic, Reyna knew she would have to work extra overtime to mold the life she always wanted! Coining her as “La Reyna”, I’m so excited I had to the opportunity to sit with her and get the real on what really goes on behind the scenes!

Episode 141: Francisco Magdeleno

You guys know I LOOOVE inviting a hot dude on the show and just making inappropriate and lude content, but Francisco had his own agenda! With Don Julio on deck, he made sure to keep the shots flowing and get out of me anything he could! He may have even tried to hook me up with one of the dudes that works for him at his business, Magdeleno Drywall Solutions! All and all, amongst the fun we had, sh** also got extra real with some of the other conversations we had, specifically about how much “men” have changed in the past few years, which is for sure to ruffle a few feathers!

After many times of rescheduling, I was finally able to have Marty Marr come in for this exciting and super true episode of The Public Affair! This local rapper hailing from South Waco has literally been through it all, including being homeless, arrested and more! Through it all, and all the face tattoos, he still keeps a smile on his face and a good head on his shoulders! I met one of the most kind, and humbled guys ever, and it was a pleasure having him on the show finally!

A silly comment thread on social media led me to this guys DM’s saying “would you come on my show?”. He kept telling me for weeks that he didn’t think he’d be able to provide an episode worth watching, but booooy was he wrong! While Oscar is known to be fun loving, and loose around people, he came on and tore the walls down and talked about some dark stuff he was going through only a year ago! Let me say, this guy is THE TRUTH, and I’m so happy to have met him and also the opportunity to build a friendship with him!

Roman was originally featured on Episode 2 of the show, over 2 1/2 years ago! He’s been working extra hard since then, most recently opening up a new gay night club in Dallas! We got into all the behind the scenes bar owner stuff, and got exxxtra real about the ever so infamous Grindr app! It was really awesome reconnecting with this guy, and the conversation was even more steamy than the last!

Goddess, queen, and badass are only a FEW of the terms that describe Bee Renee! She spent most of her life behind the scenes showing love and support to all her peers, but now its her time to shine! She’s breaking into the music scene with her debut single, “Thug Love”, and giving us a taste of what’s to come! As positive and uplifting as she is, Bee shares some of the stories of her own lessons in heartbreak, and how it’s inspiring her to be the power house is she today!

Straight out of East Waco, Larry Reed aka Deuce is a whole force to be reckoned with! He challenged the negative connotation that comes with the side of the city he grew up in, and became a whole boss in his own right! His way to the top wasn’t always easy though, because with a success comes that hard part where people in your life, including family members, show their “true colors” and people begin to fall off. No matter what though, Deuce isn’t going down without a fight, and tells a compelling story about the successes he was able to achieve! Also, he’s just damn funny. It’s the “East Waco accent” that I loved so much, amongst the super real subjects we discussed.

I’ve followed this guy since his barber school days, way before The Public Affair came about, and he’s definitely solidified his status as an “A1” barber in town! He’s been through his own obstacles in life, including a serious kidney illness he fell victim too during the buildup of his career, but he never let any of it take down that infectious personality he has! The haters can’t get to him either, it’s simply fu**’em! Loved having this guy on the show!
