You guys all know what I'm talking about. You get your phone and somehow you're already in Facebook or Insta (for me, its Insta where I get lost) and all of a sudden an hour has passed and all you have done is be in a vortex looking at other peoples lives, focusing on them and literally an hour has gone by…And for what? Do you feel invigorated after? Do you feel like you're going to conquer the world or do you, like most of us feel like SHIT?
Somehow you now feel like you're not so sexy sitting on the couch braless in your 'sexy' un-matching PJ's? I mean, who would have thought that after scrolling for THAT long you now DON'T look like our fave insta mamas out there rocking the sexy summer dress, denim jacket and joggers while laughing with a coffee in one hand and pushing a pram with the other…seriously, who would have thought.
So tell me…If scrolling like this does NOT make you happy and ultimately makes you feel like SHIT, then why do it?

You like social media, seeing the latest outfits, make up trends (which for me is Garnier BB cream and good ol' Maybelline mascara and a $3 bronzer from Big W) but how do you do it so you see THESE things and don't put yourself down, well, I'm so glad you asked.
TOOLS:
- INTENTIONALLY SCROLLING – doing what needs to be done, or if you feel like shit, do some work on you first THEN set some time like 10 minutes, 20 minutes etc to scroll and make a time limit for yourself.
- Now, understand WHEN you tend to go into your vortex of scroll. Is it in the morning when you wake up? Is it in the evening? My best tip for these is to charge your phone in the kitchen/lounge room. Why? Because you go to bed to GO TO BED, or ever get some sexy time…and you ACTUALLY sleep!!
- Set family rules that phones go in a bowl when you get home that you and your partner agree that X time is no phones time. CHANGE.YOUR.LIFEEE!!!
