  • Amy vs Amy: Recruiter Evaluates Recruiter
    @ALARECRUITER -- @AMYBETH911 -- AMY P ON LINKEDIN
    I posted a request on Facebook for someone to volunteer to be the guest for the last show of the year. Amy Miller (@AlaRecruiter) said in the comments that she would come on to argue with the guest. I picked up on that and began to bill the show as an opportunity to be evaluated as a recruiter by the great Amy Miller. So Amy Poirier volunteered even though she had recently been a guest and Amy Miller just said that she can only stay for half an hour.

  • Ronnie Bratcher, Sourcer
    @RonnieBratcher -- LINKEDIN:
    Ronnie is a true sourcer. There are many who have great ideas on how to find candidates and fill jobs, but few who can deliver the goods every time. Ronnie simply delivers. He is a joy to work with and a person who is worthy of any leader's trust. If we ever had a hard job to fill, we always knew where to take it when Ronnie was on board. -- Jason Roberts, Global Head of Technology and Analytics at Randstad Sourceright

  • Danielle Baird, Recruiting Specialist
    @DANIBAIRD1 -- LINKEDIN:
    I have been in Human Resources for 10 years. I just really enjoy working and helping people. There was no way I could go into a health field like nursing though; I would bring all the patients home with me. So I was called into the HR world and eventually migrated to recruiting.
    I have recruited across the board; administrative, light industrial, IT, healthcare, etc. I have worked with large companies, small, one man shows and non-profits. Many interesting positions and people in the world.
    I remember one of my first interviews. I was more nervous than the candidate! I was sweating and talking too fast...it...was...HORRIBLE! Thankfully I have learned to become a listener and have worked on curbing the sweating...mostly. I enjoy networking and helping where I can...if you'd like to chat, let me know!

  • Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic: Using Science To Predict Performance
    @DRTCP -- LINKEDIN -- TOM'S WEBSITE: DrTomas.com
    Tom was on the show just a few months ago and not one of the expert recruiters who called in agreed with his contention that personality assessments do a lot more to help us understand candidates than resumes and interviews. However I find Tom to be a very articulate speaker who produces many well-written and compelling articles on FastCompany, Harvard Business Review and a number of other sites so I, personally, want to hear more of what he has to say.
