April fools' jokes are flying around everywhere so be careful what you get sucked into this week. One thing is certain and that is the Sheffield Shield final was an absolute belter! Highlighted how much better the long format of cricket is. Buzz Rothfield decided to pour a tub of mayonnaise on a news story regarding high tackles in the Rugby League. Carlton and the Demons are on everyone's agenda after they are both in trouble for season 2025, if Carlton can jag a win against Collingwood this week it will turn their season around. Min Woo Lee got his first win on the PGA tour, absolutely love seeing a bloke with a bit of character get a win, not to mention a win for Australia! Tim Tszyu is back this Sunday in Newcastle, has not taken an easy fight to comeback to so good luck to him. Have a great week and we will catch ya Friday for the punt show.

One of the best shows of the year so far, we had a heap of fun and so many bloody laughs! Barbs has given Gropes a new job during the Group 1 segment so we will have to see how he does each week! Australia Cup week and that is where we head for the Group 1, who could ever forget Lonhro's win in 04'. A bit of mid yarn poly was wielded after Barbs stepped out of line. Plenty of double ups in the bets, we are all taking each other on in multiple races across the country. Should be horrendous conditions at Doomben this Saturday but good luck to Yabby Pump on the weekend! We are still in shock after a member of the punt show team has gone against the Yabby, what were you thinking! Shout out to Neds for helping put the show on, we can't get enough of them! Had to cover the big story of DCE and Manly obviously but what an A grade carry on! Bit of mis communication and classically blown out of proportion? Onto the footy, NRL refereeing on the tip of everyone's tongues except the coaches of teams who are banned from speaking about the refs. Surely, we need to let them have an opinion on certain decisions being made on the field? Some big upsets in the AFL over the weekend in some parts of the country while it was back to business as usual for others. Little bit more off field drama for the demons because they have enough going on already. Skye Nicolson failed to defend her WBC featherweight title on Saturday night after Tiara Brown got the split decision victory. Bit of UFC, footy tips go in, weird sport of the week and Oscar Piastri wins the CTC captain of the week after his win at the Chinese GP!

Tom returns from the F1 with plenty of yarns and some very good excuses as to why he was on the MCG with a Collingwood flag. We take a quick look at the Sheffield Shield as the last round wrapped up. Plenty of rugby league to cover, not just on the field but off it as well! Friday night's games couldn't have gone more against the script, as per usual. Dark days for Carlton after losing to group of kids, let's stop talking about how bad they are and focus on Richmond and how good they were! Sammy Lalor might have had some extra dm's after his sword said hello to the world out the bottom of his strides. Big boxing cards this weekend with Kambosos and Nicolson fighting in the home land. The players championship ended up in a playoff and the infamous 17th at Sawgrass struck again. Heaps of laughs and plenty of sports covered hence the length of episode! Onto the footy and we try to focus on some of the bigger news like the Dylan Brown signing, Payne Haas and the Broncos, Manly and Melbourne to name a few. We wrap up the Opening Round of the AFL, massive win for Hawthorn up in Sydney and we had to talk about the magpies and particularly whether or not they are under done. Heaps of UFC wrap up and a big look ahead to some futures in the boxing world including tonight's No Limit card involving Brock Jarvis. You would not believe it but Tom Dahl is heading the Formula 1 this weekend in Melbourne, already excited for next week's sports show to get his take on it all. We hope everyone hangs in there in the south east corner of QLD this weekend, big Alf is on his way so quick! Get out and buy 650 rolls of shit paper NOW! Vegas weekend is over for another year and we think it will only keep getting better and better, big props to the Jillaroo's. Yes, the poms absolutely have some work to do but can't take anything away from the girls. Penrith and Cronulla showcased the game perfectly in the blockbuster clash, and we are pretty sure Canberra won the comp after their celebrations post match. You would think there must have be some rescheduling in the AFL opening round with games set to be played in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Looking forward to a cracking game of Friday Night Footy with the Swans and Hawks at the SCG. Great effort on the No Limit card from Vegas Larfield and Liam Wilson. Fair bit of heat in the Wilson fight but good to see the boys shake hands and sort it out post fight. Ya wouldn't believe it but there was a bit of controversy in a big boxing bout between Tank Davis and Lamont Roach, wouldn't be a big fight without it. Everyone will be gee'd up for Alex Pereira this weekend at UFC 313, very interesting to see what his opponents game plan will be! Chucky Sanders very stiff not to get captain of the week again after his effort in the Dubai Desert Classic, but this show is ruthless. Australian Guinea's week at Flemington and Verry Elegant Stakes day at Randwick. Not to mention the NRL being back so here come the same game multis.
