This is the first of a series of text-based classes on Likkutei Torah, Maamar "Atem Nitzavim," a discourse said by the Alter Rebbe on Shabbos Parshas Nitzavim, 28 Elul, 5662/1802, and was presented by Rabbi YY Jacobson on Wednesday, 17 Elul, 5785, September 10, 2025, Parshas Ki Savo, at Bais Medrash Ohr Chaim in Monsey, NY.
This class explores the true meaning of unity, how on Rosh Hashanah all the sparks of all the souls return to their singular source. We explore how in holiness there is never an absolute hierarchy, only a functional one, because holiness recognizes the singular source of all and the interconnectedness of everyone and everything.
The class also discusses the true meaning of leadership, how the true leader sees himself or herself merely as a channel, never hijacking the energy for themselves and their ego.
