Mexican volunteers are assisting in the rescue and recovery efforts of those who remain missing in Texas after the catastrophic floods. It’s unreal, the risks they’re taking to help a nation that allows their dick-smack president to persecute and deport them.

Meanwhile, Donald Douchebag golfed, like the selfish, psychotic sloth he is.

In today’s podcast episode, I talk about how horribly corrupt the Trump administration is. People are dying because of the decisions made by the Idiot-in-Chief and the bumbling fools in his administration. Their racism and bigotry are on full display in every shitty decision they make to harm hard-working Americans.

This shit has to end. We cannot allow fascist fools to steal democracy and freedom from us. It’s time to fight back stronger, harder, and more united than we ever have. Before there’s nothing left to save.

It was a fun morning today. Though I couldn’t follow my usual routine regarding my Substack writing and podcasting, I was in a good mood. I needed to help my daughter pick up her new car.

Family first, Trump-Roasting, second.

Though I’m a creature of habit and take my work very seriously, it was nice to do things differently on a Monday. Kiera and I haven’t had a lot of time to spend together as of late. She’s a pre-med student and is doing a summer internship involving cancer research. I put 12-15 hours a day into my writing and podcasting.

So it was nice to spend a couple of hours together and have an impromptu lunch with each other. I realized a few things during our meal. I share those in this episode of The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings.

The United States of America is far less safe with Donald Trump running it than with previous presidents.

His decisions cost people their lives. He doesn’t think things through. He just does whatever he pleases through executive orders with complete disregard for the rule of law or standard protocol. He doesn’t take into consideration experts’ views and opinions.

This is what happens when you think you’re the smartest one in the room, and it’s the complete fucking opposite of that.

I woke up pissed off after the 4th of July.

It was a rough day yesterday. It’s difficult to celebrate democracy and freedom when the powers that be are determined to take it away. Why in the fuck would I celebrate a wannabe fascist regime and glorify a racist, bigoted asswipe like Donald Dick?

So I didn’t. I wrote. I protested. I raged against the machine.

I woke up moody and Mouthy. I decided that I would not allow a geriatric, dementia-riddled pea brain to affect my day. I have too many good things to focus on to allow that douche canoe to have power over my mental health.

What started out as a somewhat pissy July 4th has turned pretty exciting. My daughter informed us that she may have to attend medical school in Europe. We are discussing that possibility now, and an adventurous move may be forthcoming.

In today’s podcast episode, I talk about the reasons why this may happen in a year or so. Certain things have developed and one of Traitor Trump’s dickish moves related to his stupid big bullshit bill might be pushing us in this direction.

At least something incredible may come from it. But I’m still fired up about his ignorance and cruelty. Seriously, fuck the 4th of July this year. I’m not vibing on Independence Day at all, with the state of our nation.

I’m glad that I’m feeling a bit better about things, though. And looking forward to a possible big-time adventure and a dream come true. I’ll keep you all posted every step of the way. I appreciate you lending me your ears every day. It means more than you know. Thank you.

I’ll be chillin’ at home, as per the norm. Plus, I’ll be trying to protect and comfort my Mouthy Mooch. She gets terrified by the sounds of war outside in our neighborhood. She tries to hide, and her poor little heart goes a mile a minute. I’m not a fan of the 4th, even when we don’t have an orange dick-with-ears running our country into the ground.

Please give this one a listen, especially if you’re as fired up about Spray-Tan Shiter’s Big Bullshit Bill passing. This is the biggest transfer of wealth from the working poor to the already-wealthy that I’ve ever seen. People will die because of this.

Hey Everyone!

Today’s been a good day. I was able to deviate from my normally rigid publishing schedule to take care of some business. I got my truck battery replaced, the tires rotated, and also got to spend a rare morning during the week with Mrs. Mouthy.

She brought up the topic of appearing on one of my Substack Lives!

That was cool. We’d chatted about it in the past, but never gotten around to it. She had some good ideas about our episode that we’d do. Her best day is Friday, when she’s off early from her counseling practice.

“Me and you, and a dog named Mooch… Travelin’ and livin’ off the land…”

Le sigh… That sounds wonderful right about now. When I took my first solo road trip alone a couple of months ago, things were sure easier. Nothing but the open road, some tunes, and a world full of photographic possibilities. It was pretty nice staring at the windshield, seeing what was coming up ahead rather than at a screen full of bad news.

Politics can be pretty fucking depressing at times. Then add some family drama, a broken down truck, and dealing with my dad’s health problems, and DAMN.

It can be a lot. My mental health is somewhat up and down anyway. Add a few extra annoyances and things can seem pretty shitty. In today’s podcast episode, I talk about some of these challenges. And what I’m doing to right the ship before it smashes into an iceberg.

It’s not all that dramatic. I’m a pretty reasonable fella who can put up with a lot. But I do appreciate you letting me vent and being wonderful about your responses back. They sure do help. Thank you to all of our Mouthy Militia for being badass, great friends.
