  • A Fuckwit Like Trump is Not Worth Losing Family Over

S2E43: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

    Happy Sunday afternoon, everyone!

It’s a nice, chill day here at The Mouthy Renegade Writer’s home. For whatever reason, I feel happier today. Yesterday was a bit of a down day, as I mentioned in yesterday’s podcast episode. Thankfully, that shit has ended and I feel better.

Perhaps it’s because I know I’m way smarter and a far better person than Donald Trump.

I was thinking about this today after I wrote my latest article about it being time to divide the United States. I just can’t see MAGA Trumpers coming to their senses and ditching the Tangerine Turd in favor of the things the left has supported all of this time. They seem too far gone and ready to die on the hill of Donald Trump and fascism.

I can’t think of a less-worthwhile garbage human to throw away your friends, family, and love interests over. Trump doesn’t give a fuck about you or your family. And he’s certainly not anyone to admire and look up to. Give this one a listen and I’ll explain this further. Thank you for lending me your ears, as always!

  • I'm Feeling Sad and My Writing is to Blame

S2E42: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

    Hey, Ya’all…

Not going to lie, I’m struggling today. I’m having a poor mental health day. Writing about the fuckery regarding Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and MAGA every day can be a bit much. Those two dick weeds could make anyone feel sad and down.

But I’ll snap out of it. I’m not letting those fuck puddles win.

I wrote an article today that was important, but fairly dark. I can feel my mood shift to a negative place when I write so frequently about the lawless corruption we have going on in the White House. But I know it’s important to my readers and listeners to get my unfiltered, no-fucks-given perspective on things.

I wish we had a normal president, though. I could write more humor stuff and not have to focus on our country’s many, many issues. Perhaps someday that may be my reality if we could ever vote for decent, better-qualified candidates instead of serial liars and con artists.

Anyway, thank you for giving this one a listen. Even when I’m sad, knowing you’re all here and supportive makes it better. Your kind comments and the support of my free and paid subscribers help me to right the ship and get back on course.

For that, I’m grateful. Thank you all so much. Enjoy this episode.

If you can relate to my feelings about politics affecting your mental health, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. That makes it possible for me to do this daily. Thank you!

  • Valentine's Day and Vigilante Justice

S2E41: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

Happy VD everyone! That’s short for Valentine’s Day, obviously. There’s nothing happy about venereal disease. If something hurts, burns, or feels itchy after your date tonight, go get it checked out.

You don’t want to go bonkers from syphilis like Donald Trump appears to be doing.

Speaking of Trump, I wrote a really funny piece about him sending Valentine’s Day wishes to his loved ones today. Check it out if you get the chance, it’s on my page here. You’ll laugh, I promise. I also wrote a sweet poem for Mai, explaining why to me, she’s my Bride and not just a wife.

How mushy, right? Don’t care for that type of writing from me? Tough shit, I do what I want.

Tonight, Mrs. Mai and I will be having a wonderful time avoiding the snow and enjoying Dad’s spaghetti that I’ll be making for my family. Most of us are in for the night and we’ll be chillin’. Dexter here figures into the equation. Give this episode a listen, you’ll see. Thank you for lending me your ears once again!

  • Walking Mooch in Winter's Wonderland

S2E40: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

    Happy Snowy February 13th, Y’all!

Well, it’s snowy here in Idaho, anyway. Perhaps you have better weather where you live. I’m not used to snow storms this late in the season. Our first substantial snow generally hits well before February.

But that’s just how it goes, sometimes. At least it’s pretty out there.

Even though I’ve still had cold-like symptoms, I still wanted to get Mooch out for her daily walk. I tend to think that dogs lead a fairly boring life, if they don’t get to go out on adventures frequently. This is why we take grocery store runs together and have a daily appointment for an afternoon walk.

Today was no different. In this podcast episode, I chat about the snowstorm we had arrive this morning and the forecast for the next part of it coming tomorrow. It’s also my lovely mother’s birthday today, so I’m giving her a birthday shout-out.

Thank you for listening and lending me your ears. You guys are the coolest. I appreciate the new subscribers coming in, both free and paid. You’re all wonderful and I value and cherish you all. &:^)

  • The Force Was With Me Today

S2E38: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

Well hello everyone! I’m back with another badass episode of The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings. It’s been a hell of a great day here at my home office. I’m feeling better from COVID, almost 100% now. That’s a big deal.

It’s not the easiest to work at this thing of mine 12 to 15 hours a day when you’re battling COVID.

But I powered through it. I realized how strong I am and determined to do the things needed to progress in my Writer’s Journey daily. Part of success is just showing up every single day and giving it your all. I promise that I’ll always do that for y’all.

Thank you for giving today’s episode a listen, I appreciate you lending me your ears. I had some badass good news to share with you in this episode, and I hope it makes you smile as much as it made me do exactly that. Hope you’re also having a wicked cool day, too.

  • I'm So Happy Trump's Team Lost the Super Bowl

S2E37: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

Not gonna lie, I’m happy that Super Bowl LIX pissed off Orange Shitler and his idiot fandom. Seeing the Chiefs get their asses kicked while Trump scowled like a little bitch made my black heart grow a size or two during the event.

I’m still a bit sick from COVID, but damn, I’m smiling right now.

I wrote an article earlier today about people getting all huffy about the halftime show and the message it was conveying. Those messages went right over the heads of so many MAGA folks. Others who did get it were pissed. Fucking GOOD. We need more of that kind of thing with such a racist, bigoted, sexist, homophobic political administration we’re suffering under.

Check this one out if you would, and if you haven’t read my article from this afternoon about it yet, please do. I also give a shout-out at the end of this one to three writers who I feel you should know about. They’re my favorites and they could use your support. Thank you for lending me your ears today, I appreciate it greatly!

  • I'm Doped Up on Cold Meds for This Shit

S2E36: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, Everyone! I powered through a groggy, light-headed feeling this morning when I recorded this episode of The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings podcast. It wasn’t easy.

    Shit got weird. You’ll see.

I’m sure it’s not as bad as I’m thinking. But it was certainly a struggle to maintain focus and keep my thoughts organized. I took too much cold medicine last night before bed. Never mix The ‘Tussin, Advil PM, and vino. Christ, I slept like a baby, at least.

But it’s made for a groggy Super Bowl Sunday morning. Call it irresponsible, call it poor choices, or perhaps I’m just pre-gaming before the big event. I plan on making two kinds of wings, deluxe bratwursts, and serving up some macaroni salad, french fries, and my homemade fry sauce.

Someone pass me a joint. Just kidding. That would probably finish me off. Enjoy this episode and I hope whoever you’re cheering on in the big game wins. Me? I’m just rooting for Trump to get booed mightily. And that he shits his pants in front of everyone.

  • The Bullshit Hypocrisy of Religion and Trump's Government

S2E35: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

    Hey Everyone,

Thank you for tuning into this latest episode of The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings. I’m quite irritable today, big surprise. All of the bullshit nonsense I’m reading about Trump and Elon Musk’s illegal, petty, shitty activities has me fired up.

This cannot be good for my stress levels. I’m fired up on this one.

My afternoon article today reflected that, too. You should check it out on my page if you get the chance. It carried over though to this podcast and apologies if the cursing is more than you’re used to. But goddamn it, I get so riled up sometimes about the hypocritical bullshit of this criminal administration.

For those who don’t mind it and stuck with me on this episode, thank you! It helps to vocalize what I’m feeling inside and to voice my opinions. I’m always going to remain Mouthy. I appreciate those of you who are here for it. And when you do the same thing in your writing, too.

If you enjoyed this episode even with the attitude and anger, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. Your support makes it possible for me to publish my work daily. Thank you!

  • Got My Passport and I'm Ready to Be Mouthy Internationally

S2E34: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings

Today was a good day, Y’all.

I finally achieved a goal I’d been actively working on since Trump was elected. After the shock wore off from him defeating Kamala Harris in the November election, I knew I needed to get to work.

Not just on my writing and podcasting, but also on a personal goal.

I wanted to be able to leave the country. Though I’ve had travel in mind for the past few years, the events we’ve seen during Trump’s first few weeks in office have lit a fire under my ass. I wanted to have my passport in hand as soon as possible.

And here we are. Today is that day. Mission accomplished.

In today’s episode of The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy Musings, I talk about the reasons why I feel strongly about this. And the things that need to happen to make it possible. Though I’m not booking a flight right away, I’m still doing some research, checking with my international friends and subscribers, and formulating a plan to see more of the world.

I want to be Mouthy wherever I go. I cannot imagine a cooler thing to do than to write and podcast from another country. I’m stoked to get busy on the next steps in my writer’s journey. More to come, thank you for listening and lending me your ears. &:^)

If you enjoyed this episode and want to help me achieve my goal of being an international writer, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. Your support makes this possible. Thank you!
