Trust between restaurants and third-party delivery companies is at an all-time low

We all know about the ridiculous fees restaurants are paying and the drivers’ lack of speed, and accuracy in getting their food to guests

But now there are cases popping up where delivery companies aren’t paying their restaurants

In one case upwards of $400,000 is owed to local businesses.

Some of those restaurants won't see payment, ever, and are forced to take legal action.

This begs the question,

“Should third-party delivery companies be able to collect payment on behalf of restaurants, and pay them back at a time of their choosing?”

Do restaurants even have a choice?
