Sometimes we all need the reminder that we all need someone to talk to, and when we are going through the thick of it, in our darkest days, it can be the hardest to reach out. When struggling with depression, anxiety, or any other mental illness, like ptsd, and many other things, it can be so easy to feel like isolating yourself is the best option.
The best thing we can do for our mental health is to connect with other people and sometimes that means that we have to make the first move. Now, this can be difficult, but if we successfully isolate ourselves from the rest of the world, it only leads to more suffering.
Take initiative today and call your friends, if you’re doing good, or if you’re not, and just ask them how they are doing, and GENUINELY CARE. Find it in your heart to love someone today, and tell them. Remind them how much they mean to you.
