This crisis has seen the rise in the number of high net worth individuals and families investing in ‘pandemic passports’ – wherein they secure passports in countries that have strong national healthcare systems and that have adequately managed to contain the spread of the Corona virus within their borders.

Ang to help me get a better grasp of what were the key drivers for the steep decline, what were (if there were any) the bright spots in the economy during the second quarter and what are the emerging opportunities that entrepreneurs should pay attention to as we emerge (?) from this recession.

Michael Ricafort was recently named One of the Most Accurate in Predicting the Inflation Rate in 2018 and 2019 by the Department of Finance. Meanwhile, Dr. Alvin Ang is a professor of the Economics Department of the Ateneo de Manila University and sits on the Board of the Philippine Economic Society.
