Feeling buried under too much stuff or too many plans? In this episode, we’ll show you how to move from chaos to calm by simplifying what matters most. Discover practical ways to declutter your space, your schedule, and your mindset, so you can enjoy more freedom, clarity, and peace on your travels and at home.
Since a few of us spend much time at home, quarantine can be an excellent time to get the house in shape and set you up for on-the-go success. This episode piggybacks on our previous 5 episodes that walk you through the process of decluttering your home, and is Part 2 in regards to clothing.
Shop your closet-
Pick pieces you wouldn’t normally think to go together and try them on.
Find new pairings and something you might not have previously loved, could become your next new fave.
To inspire this process, think about:
-What is your “uniform”
-inspiration outfits
-dress the part- dress for success.
-Current trends. @msbeltempo did a great job demonstrating this concept in her video here: https://youtu.be/4m4eCc6DHRg
Pare down what you love for your body RIGHT NOW.
Then purge away as the #KonMari Method suggests.
From the remaining pieces, you can then create capsule wardrobes.
Let each month or each season inspire you to shop your closet for the remaining clothes you love. Choose 10-30 pieces each time that pair with all the pieces in the "capsule."
Make a new capsule once a year, once a season, or monthly. Then everything in your closet gets loved and used. You’re creating space and peace in your home and saving time and money.
And when you’re home, dressing becomes quick and easy, and you know you always look and feel great. Whether it's for a Zoom call, trekking the Andes Mountains, or picking up your kids, you'll be comfortable. You’ve already done the homework to know which pieces work with other pieces, having a system where each piece goes with everything else. A capsule wardrobe can fit nicely and snugly in a small suitcase, so doing the work now makes life easier for both your life at home and when you are traveling.
Once you have pared down and purged- if you find you have a few pieces that don’t go with anything - maybe it’s time to let those go also….
If you’re keeping your wedding dress or grandma’s famous Easter hat, then store those elsewhere- they don’t need to be part of your daily clothing decision.

Join us as we expand from seven to ten essential “What’s” for creating balance and simplicity in your travel-filled life. In this episode, you’ll discover practical tips for designing and decluttering your space, mindset, and routine, so you can travel lighter, live freer, and focus on what truly matters.
For most of us, decluttering our home is a process that not only helps clear away things that weigh us down physically, but also emotionally. As we approach the downward curve of the #coronavirus pandemic, it's important to take an introspective look at your home and your space (even if it's just your bedroom).
How can you take your current situation and maximize its effectiveness, and create surroundings that serve the lifestyle you have and/or want to have?
Tidy expert, Marie Kondo, says, “The first step is to really visualize what your ideal lifestyle [looks like]. How do you want to spend your time at home?”
Based on this premise and wonderful advice, we've created 7 "What" questions to help you answer this bigger question.
Grab your journal and a pen, find a quiet space, and take the time to dive deep and reflect on your honest answers to these questions.
1. What do you want your space to look and feel like? Describe it in specific detail. From the decor style to the level of tidiness. And what emotions do you want to feel in your space?
2. What do you want your space to do for you? What purpose do you want your space to serve?
Catch the remaining questions in our next episode!
Coronavirus and #Quarantine are creating possible new short and maybe long-term norms. Regardless, life always has stages- empty nesting, going off to college, new job, moving. Give yourself the grace and patience to adjust to different seasons, and to allow your home and living space to adjust with you.

Alexa is an ACE-certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with a specialty in sports nutrition, so today’s topic is something I’m super passionate about and SO excited to talk with you about today. Not only because of what we might face with COVID-19, but also in your day-to-day life. Today, we’re going to talk about our immune systems. And to be on the go and travel the world, and take care of our families, we have to be our healthiest selves, and it’s never too late to start working on taking care of yourself and your health.
Keep in mind when listening, that what Alexa is recommending is for FORTIFYING your immune system. When you are otherwise healthy and there is no threat of a virus, then return to normal doses as advised by the packaging on the supplements you take.
Not every supplement is for every body, every diet, and the recommended doses should be followed, but you might need to adjust it according to your illness, lack thereof, age, and size.
