Say goodbye to travel nausea! In this episode, we share practical tips and remedies to help you prevent and manage motion sickness, so you can fully enjoy every adventure, whether by plane, train, car, or boat.

Thanks for joining us!  Did you catch our podcast two episodes ago? It's where we met and talked with @TheLocalTourist- which is Theresa Goodrich and her husband, Jim. Jim mentioned to us that it is difficult for him to work while Theresa is driving on the road trips because motion sickness makes it impossible. Motion sickness can be a big hindrance to a lot of people taking that cruise, driving or riding on curvy roads, those who have a sensitive tummy to foreign or new foods, or those simply needing to get things done while commuting or on a road trip.  At the recent Los Angeles #TravelAndAdventureShow, we learned about @reliefband, which should solve your motion sickness and nausea issues. Additionally, we were able to offer you a 20% discount on your order when you use the promo code THEROAMIES20. Thanks, Allie! We hope you find this helpful! Please share the link and promo code with your friends who suffer from this.

https://bit.ly/2SkBlY2
Our Singing Valentine Phone-A-Grams are Back!! This is such a fun way to let that special someone know that you love, care, and appreciate them. We can call them on their commute to or from work, during their dinner time, at work, or on their lunch break. You decide when they might be most surprised and/or appreciate it. We can also call internationally. We are using Square to process the appointments. So simply click the link or go to our website. Choose a song and the time we are calling your loved one. Make sure to specify the number we are calling, the recipient's name, and any special message you want us to pass along. Since some of you will be celebrating over the weekend, we have slots on Saturday available as well. Can't wait to sing to all the lovely people in your life!

Learn from Rory’s hilarious (and slightly painful) hiking misadventure so you don’t make the same mistakes! In this episode, we share what not to do on the trail and give you practical tips to stay safe, prepared, and ready to actually enjoy your next hike.

Today's Episode brings a certain scripture to mind...
“So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭
This can obviously apply to the physical, as in Rory's fall.
But also addresses pride.
Not confidence, but pride.
Something that holds us back from living life freely and to the full.
Rory's story also shows the importance of getting back up and trying again when you do fall. We all fall and sometimes fail. When we get back up and keep going, we grow in character and skill. And we get another step closer to reaching our goals.
We will all face steep paths and obstacles in life's journey.
It's how we handle them that shows us (and others) who we truly are.
The more we know who we are, the better we know the things we want to be about, and how we want to spend our time. When those things are clear, then maybe our crazy "on-the-go" schedule that we create for ourselves will either become more manageable, because you'll know what to cut out of it. And/or it will become purposeful and full of joy knowing you are on the path you truly want to be taking.
