The fall of Syria’s Assad government and its defeat by the coalition led by a former Al Qaida and Al Nusra Islamists has the risk of more Christian persecution at the hands of a Muslim fundamentalist government raising concerns of Christian and western leaders around the globe. The complexities surrounding just who all the actors in the rebel factions, the various religious sects, and ethnic groups are makes the situation difficult to understand by the casual observer. Christians in the area were once a majority but are now about 10 percent of the population, concentrated in urban areas of Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Hama, Latakia and in Hasaka governorate but many have fled to other places due to the Syrian civil war. Finding allies can be very difficult in the Middle East is very difficult and the situation with the change in government makes it even more so. To help us understand what is happening today, my guest is Juliana Taimoorazy, the founder the Iraqi Christian Relief Council organized to shine a light on the plight of Christians in her ancestral homeland and raise funds to deliver food, shelter and medicine to Iraq. Her own unique story as a refugee has made her a strong leader and an unshakable voice for Christians and other minorities in the Middle East today. Taimoorazy has advised many U.S. based organizations and institutions on the issue, has been consulted on developing policy and as a leading international advocate, became a two time Nobel Peace Prize nominee for advancing awareness of persecution of Christians and other minorities in the Middle East. The United States faces a crisis that should result in declarations of emergency conditions, but we will not. Our citizens no longer trust the so-called leaders in our government. All one has to do is read the comments on any random post about drones flying over highly sensitive infrastructure to realize how dire the situation is. Trust and confidence in our military leadership can be restored the fastest if we have the courage. The video you just watched is from before the disastrous Biden Department of Defense. Not that long ago, and those leaders still exist, we just need to get them back on the job and give them the policy tools they need to get the job of providing lethality to America done. But leaders alone can’t get it done, our military and civilian classification systems for creating the most secret information, are being abused and misused in a way that harms our citizens and creates a vast corruption across the US government. Without strong reformation in both of these areas, we will not be able to do what needs to be done in the most broken area of the department of defense from a policy perspective, and that is in the area of acquisition. We must address the acquisition system, from our manufacturing base to the glacial processes that drive us to not be able to field new equipment within decades of development. We are behind our adversaries because we have turned away from our greatest strength, our industrial base. Lawfare and piercing the attorney-client privilege has become commonplace in our weaponized federal government and court system since they decided to go after Donald Trump and any American that stands up to the regime. They are at war with equal protection and presidential pardons for people like Roger Ver are the best tool to address the immediate need for true justice. Here is Brett Weinstein on X: Roger Ver (known as 'Bitcoin Jesus') faces extradition to the U.S. and a sentence of up to 109 years if he is convicted. His crime? He didn't commit one, but that doesn't matter in the age of American Lawfare. What Roger did do was promote a revolutionary decentralizing technology that radically empowers citizens and disempowers central banks and governments. His advocacy enraged the regime in the same way that Julian Assange's journalism did--and the regime responded with the same diabolical toolkit. Roger Ver deserves a pardon to end his legal nightmare. And we citizens of the West need him to get that pardon to return us to the principle of Equal Protection Under the Law. We see it every day. Our ships look like rust buckets, we can’t man them in order to utilize the entire fleet because we don’t have enough people. Drones are flying at will over our most sensitive military bases inside our country without challenges by our commanders. China’s navy and air forces challenge us and our allies every day. We have failed to deter Russia, and now our military intelligence has once again failed to provide warning about the fall of Syria’s government. A big part of the answer to repairing our armed forces is the plan to take care of our people, fund the necessary manpower requirements, and provide the right leadership to implement those actions. My guest today is Stephen Simmons who was a prior enlisted Marine Corps Major who served as a Combat Engineer and Civil Affairs Planner. He has deployed to Iraq, supported multiple humanitarian missions, and is a recognized Subject Matter Expert in total force manpower planning and policy, and distinguished himself operationally working within Aviation Ground Support. Stephen worked with multiple media and congressional offices to highlight the constitutional crisis resulting from the unlawful vaccine mandates, upholding his oath to protect manpower readiness. Leadership by walking around. I learned that early on in my Air Force service, even as an E-1, being at the point of contact matters, especially in a crisis. What needs to happen for President Trump to rapidly get control of the executive branch, otherwise known as the administrative or deep state? The answers lie in manpower policies, budget policies, and personnel policies like a concept you may have heard of, called Schedule F. The effort will require innovative approaches and disruptors to reign in the out-of-control agencies and departments the President is supposed to control. Kash Patel is one of those, but an important person in the process is the head of the President’s office of management and budget, newly re-nominated Russ Vought. Reformers like Patel will have to develop and implement these innovative policies and one place to go for help is OMB. Patel and the other disruptors will also need loyal civil servants that understand how regulations, budgets, and manpower policies can be used to thwart their efforts and how to use them against those efforts. Let there be no doubt, the events unfolding in Syria today are the result of Israel’s highly effective response to the attacks on October 7 2023. The question is, what will now unfold in Syria? Can Israel, continue its superior military operations so Islamic Nazis cant gain access to Syria’s vast arsenal of chemical weapons and other dangerous military capabilities? This rebel coalition is rightly cause for concern. The militant leader of Syria’s rebel coalition, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani is supposed to have a $10 Million U.S. bounty on his head, and yet here he is, being supported by the United States and Turkey. The United States has been in Syria for years and was actively supporting rebel forces with airstrikes in their successful offensive and are now attacking multiple ISIS targets in Eastern Syria. Sadly we’re already hearing there may be attacks on Christianity by the Islamist rebel factions that took Alleppo. Can there really be a new Syria that is a place for all it’s sectors of society to live in freedom and safety? Having fought the Islamist Nazis for years, I seriously doubt that will happen. Friends I’ve said it many times and I tell you again, border security is national security. The border situation has become a different conversation now that President Trump has been re-elected. What will the deportation look like? The Sheriffs of America must be ready, and they must have President Trump's back! Commonly referred to as woke ideology, rooting it our is a top priority of President Trump and his Secretary of Defense nominee. DOD will need a team of very strong leaders at every level in order to right the ship, so to speak, and while the Trump transition team is hard at work, outside groups are entering the effort to help them identify prospective leaders who have proven themselves, especially in the last five years, to have the moral courage to stand up for the Constitution and individual liberty, in the face of massive institutional pressure and even the loss of their careers. The first of such groups identified itself last week as members of what they call themselves as the military rank and file when they released a vanguard of 18 senior leader names of prospective appointees to be provided to the DOD transition for consideration as members of the new team. There are hundreds more names to follow from this group. My guest today is the spokeswoman for the rank-and-file initiative Kacy Dixon. Kacy is a US Air Force veteran intelligence officer and judge advocate general who was caught up in the maelstrom of what has happened to DOD in the last 5 years.
