The Rock Experience with Mike Brunn

October 6, 2020....Eddie Van Halen passed away today and we pay our tributes to his incredible legacy.

Ryan joins me to discuss recording "She" for Ace Frehley's new album Origins, Vol. 2.  Plus we discuss touring with Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, KISS Kruises, the impact Desmond Child had on his life, and so much more!

In December 2019 I attended the Vinnie Vincent Christmas party held in Nashville, Tn.  The event covered two days at SIR.  This is my "real time" feedback of the second day, recorded a few hours after the event had ended.

My first podcast episode from April 2019. I attended the first Return Of The Comet concert which took place on April 6, 2019 in Bridgeport, Cn and gave this review of the show right afterwards.  For those who may not know Return Of The Comet includes Frehley's Comet alumni Tod Howarth (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Richie Scarlett (guitar, vocals), John Regan (bass), Steve "Budgie" Werner (drums).

Todd Kerns, Brandon Fields, Jeremy Asbrock and Matt Starr join me for their first band interview to discuss their new project Minefield. Great songs and great guys!  This conversation was a lot of fun!

We discuss the late Lee Kerslake and his great contributions to rock, including his work with Ozzy Osbourne on the Blizzard of Ozzy and Diary of a Madman albums.

On this episode we wrap up our discussion on the four 1978 KISS solo albums. What we thought about the project, the artwork, our "best of" the solo albums and more!

Vincent LaRussa and I take a look back at the classic 1978 Paul Stanley solo album.  We discuss what we like and what we don't like as much.  A great conversation about a great album!

One this episode we discuss the 1978 Gene Simmons solo album, what we like and don't like, the special guests and the one special guest that didn't appear on the record.

Make sure you also check out our episodes on the other 1978 KISS solo albums.

Scott Shriner from Weezer joins the show and discusses everything going on in the world of Weezer, his influences, the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, performing with the Cars, Vanilla Ice and much more!
