Dr. Selim Patros got his degree of Professor in Political Sociology on December 19, 2019 in Ankawa, Arbil. During a meeting with him about reading Iraqi situation, he said that after the fall of the totalitarian dictatorship regime came a sectarian system carrying in its womb the causes of conflict, separation and fragmentation, pushed the Iraqi people to pay a heavy price.
Professor Patros added that it is the middle class that plays a big role in societies which influence the change of policies in countries. Unfortunately the absence or almost nonexistence of the middle class in Iraq has made it impossible to build a civil democratic state.
