Spring means all new Broadway Shows coming to NYC! One of the most anticipated shows is “BOOP!” This all-new Broadway show tells the story of Betty Boop with music, choreography, and direction from an all-star lineup! Add an insane cast and it is a party!
Coming back to Broadway is the one and only Erich Bergen. We all fell in love with Erich in Jersey Boys! Playing Bob Gaudio in the Jersey Boys movie is one heck of a gig. He turned that into an incredible run on “Madame Secretary,” and on Broadway in “Chicago” & “Waitress!”
If that doesn’t inspire and exhaust you, during Covid, Erich became the go to producer for virtual fundraisers and online shows. He has transitioned that to in-person events and now galas, awards, and a production company! Who else do you know on Broadway, starring in TV shows, and producing events with Barack Obama? Well Erich Bergen!

We have a Grammy Nominated, Broadway/Theatre Superstar with us today!
Ute Lemper's decades-long career spans stage, film, and music, with over 30 recordings. Renowned for her interpretations of Berlin Cabaret, Kurt Weill, Brecht, and chanson legends like Marlene Dietrich and Edith Piaf, she has also starred in major musicals across Broadway, the West End, Paris, and Berlin. She won the American Theater World Award and the Laurence Olivier Award for her performance as Chicago’s Velma Kelly in the West End and on Broadway, the Molière Award for her performance as Cabaret’s Sally Bowles in Paris, among others, and earned Grammy nominations.
Her global tours feature diverse projects, including Rendezvous with Marlene, Songs for Eternity, and tributes to Piazzolla and Brecht. She has composed music inspired by Bukowski, Neruda, and Coelho and released a bestselling autobiography in 2023. She released her self-penned and contemporary album Time Traveler just last year. Singing in five languages, she continues to perform worldwide. A longtime New York resident, she lives there with her family and four children.
To celebrate revolutionary composer Kurt Weill’s 125th birthday on March 2, acclaimed singer & actress Ute Lemper released “Mack the Knife,” the new single & video from her album Pirate Jenny, out April 25 via The Audiophile Society.
Composed by Kurt Weill with the lyrics of Bertolt Brecht in 1928, the song originally appeared in The Threepenny Opera, brimming with satirical critiques of societal injustices and corruption that still resonate today. Lemper embodies the charming yet ruthless criminal Macheath, who evades justice despite his violent actions. In the video, Lemper embodies various personas - the young, the old, the jester, the murderer - running loose in New York City.
The music video, single, and tickets for her return to 54 Below are now out!

"RAIN" has been around the world. It is THE Beatles Tribute that you need to see. It has been on Broadway, the West End, and around the world for sold out audiences. RAIN comes to Detroit and the legendary Fox Theatre on March 21st! For tickets: www.313Presenrs.com.
Steve Landes is here! He sings, plays, and re-creates the work of John Lennon in Rain!
A life-long, second-generation Beatles fan, Steve taught himself guitar at 10 listening to Beatles records and by 13 was fronting a Top 40 cover band in his native Philadelphia. At 17 he joined Beatlemania and further developed his musicianship, touring the world with the show. After 'passing the audition' with the existing RAIN band members in 1998, his career was set. On one of his travels to England, he found himself at Liverpool's Casbah Club, owned by pre-Ringo Beatles drummer Pete Best. Encouraged to get on stage, Steve belted out lead vocals to The Beatles rocker "Slow Down," while Best sat in on drums.
As a backup musician, Steve has performed alongside legendary sixties artists Peter Noone (Herman’s Hermits), Joey Molland (Badfinger), Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, and Tiny Tim. As an actor, he appeared in the films "Wedding Bell Blues," "For Which He Stands" and Tim Burton’s "Mars Attacks!" Steve writes and records his own original music.
I am so ready to see RAIN & experience the the Fox here in the D!
