The Royal Access

Have you ever felt once I learned to be ok with something that I will never have to struggle with that again? However, that's not always the case, when God is taking us to another level in Him we often face obstacles that require us to trust him on a deeper level. So if you have ever felt like you had learned to trust God in a season, but at this moment your circumstances are beyond overwhelming, trust that

He’s calling you to a higher level in Him and with Him. 

In (Part 1) of " 7 truths about Singleness," will help to make you stronger during the wait. I want you to remember: 

1. The enemy is seeking to attack you in every season - You are not a failure because your race looks different than somebody else’s race

1 Peter 5:8

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion. looking for someone to devour.

2. Singleness is a time for Self Discovery and there are always new levels about you to learn

1 Corinthians 7:34

An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit

3. You can’t skip the pain of the process of this waiting season

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me

4. Joy is found when you learn to live in the tension of Contentment and Contending

Philippians 4:11

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances

Hebrews 10:23

We must hold on to God's promise that we have said we believed. And we must never let go. He has promised and he will do it.

In life, we are often searching for the destination that will bring us the most joy, the most relaxation, and overall the most comfort. However, we learn in the story of David. In 2 Samuel 11:1- That choosing comfort over obedience can lead to a devastating path. We do not need to fear the uncomfortable valleys because in life either we win or we learn. 

2 Samuel: 11:1-

The three points I want you to remember is

There were so many times David could have stopped and ask God a question.

  3. Am I following God’s plan or my plan - Have you ever had a vision for how something would turn out, but God had another plan, and it turned out so much better 

Today's lesson is a reminder for us to choose to see uncomfortable situations as birthing grounds for the purpose God has for us! 

We often don't use the words stronger and Love in the same sentence. However, if we took some time to look at love characteristics that don't only focus on sunshine and roses, we will realize that love was designed to help us grow. 

Love is

Love God, love yourself. I want to dive into loving others

Where did you first really learn about loving others?

1. Love is multifaceted

Love exists in so many ways outside of romantic love. If we close ourselves off to only waiting for romantic love, we will miss out on so many growth and fulfillment opportunities.

2. Love is painful 

The truth is when you give yourself up to love someone unconditionally, pain is inevitable. You will disagree, you will disappoint, and you will experience hurt. It's the risk God took when he gave us His only son, and we disappoint him every day. It's the same kind of love he wants us to display. 

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Someone dies -

I can only love someone to the degree that I love myself, so I wouldn’t want someone to call me out on destructive behavior.

3. Love Takes Courage

It may be rejected, not valued, or received in a different way than you perceived it would be, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't give it. When you give love, you may not even receive it in return from the person you wanted to experience love with, but you have to trust God for him to bring love to you. 

Conclusion

“We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.”

1 John 4:16-17 NLT

Suppose I live like Jesus, then I have to love like Jesus. The reason we’re not stronger is that we’re reading the wrong manual; when we follow Christ, this is what we signed up for. We don’t decide who we want to love fearlessly; we trust God to decide who we love fearlessly. Who we pour into and how we do it.

Are you missing out on the strength God is trying to build in you because you are too busy resenting the pain of training season?

10% of happiness depends on external circumstances and 90% is on perceptions. How we see the world

David was on the run for 15 years before he became King, whether He knew it or not this journey was making him stronger. 

When we are in a waiting season we have to remember that God could be doing one or more of these things.

Are you stewarding over Money?

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”

When I think about Managing Time, the first scripture that comes to me is Proverbs 31, now that woman had some time Management skills. 

In today's episode, we study what it means to be a Proverbs 31 woman and how she managed to steward her time so well. 

Proverbs 31:18: She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.

     2. She wrote down the vision/ goals Proverbs 31:21 - Where there is no vision the people will perish

Proverbs 31:21When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.     

     3.She audited her daily routine to identify distractions and laziness - Proverbs 31: 27 

Proverbs 31:27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.

     4. She planned, organized, and delegated Proverbs 31:15

Proverbs 31:15 - She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day’s work for her servant girls.

     5. She followed God's List instead of following her own. Proverbs 31:30 

Proverbs 31:30: Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;

When you are waiting on God to birth a new relationship in your life, don’t resent the waiting period. If we learn to realize that our waiting period is an opportunity to deepen our capacity to love, we will end up seeing it so differently.

Love is something that you give away, when you give it away you end up having more.

Stewardship- Girl look at that Body!

This year it has been about Self Care, so as we explore more about stewardship, I wanted to read what the scriptures had to say about how God views our Body! 

1 Corinthians 6: 19-20

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body

Does God REALLY care about what I eat and if I exercise?

The key to maintaining a healthy body relies on about 80% of our nutrition habits 

“You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.”

Ephesians 5:5 NLT

Bad Habits that lead to greater levels of anxiety:

1. Skipping meals

2. Eating sugar

3. No exercise

4. Poor eating habits

5. Lack of sleep

6. Eating processed food

7. Not enough fluids

8. Drinking caffeine

1 Peter 5:6-8

6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour

Does God REALLY care if I REST?

Even God rested on the seventh day, so why do we often think we don't have to.

Exodus 20: 8-10

“Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. For in six days, the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day, he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.”

Exodus 20:8-11 NLT

Does God care about Beauty Treatments?

How we care for our hair

Our skin

Our hygiene

"For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church. "– Ephesians 5:29

Christ used the analogy of how we take care of our body to correlate with how He takes care of the church.

The Bible also says to love one another’s as you love yourself. The problem is we don’t love or take ourselves as we should.

A lot of us are guilty of not taking care of our body but this lesson has shown us, that how we take care of our body is of great importance to God and as a result should also be important to us!

I want to be obedient to God but it’s so hard

Temptation is real

Distractions are real

But when we see God showing up majorly in someone’s life, knowing all the visions He has placed inside of us we get discouraged. If God can’t trust you to be obedient to the first instructions He gave you He won’t be able to trust you with the bigger things

       Read the word - Joshua 1:8

“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”

         Pray - Direction - Philippians 4:6

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

         Tithe - Malicah 3:10 

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

Proverbs 19:17 The one who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and the LORD will repay him for his good deed

          Forgiveness - Matthew 6: 14-15

"For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Don’t let Unforgiveness keep you from experiencing LOVE

Forgive Others

God is love. So we don't forgive, we are operating in something but it’s not love.
