The World would say with he list above, you will have everything you could ever want in life but none of this matters if God isn’t first.

Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.”

Are you willing to do something against what your flesh what have done in order to be obedient to what God is calling you to do.
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Take the time to be Honest and ask yourself if these three things have a tighter grip on your heart than God does:
Cultural Expectations are first - Marriage and Success, - The desire to get married and have children

My Dreams, Wants and Desires are first - Success, Money, Fame, Influence- You can give up before you grow up. If the dreams is the destination -

Culture may lead us to believe because God is our LOVING Father, it means he will just give me whatever I want. However, that’s not sound doctrine and it’s contrary to the word of God. Our relationship with God is about more than Him giving us our every wish, it’s about taking delight in His perfect will for us.
Join us for another episode of Teach the Text where we breakdown Zephaniah 3:17
Zephaniah- 3:17 The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you;
in his love, he will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing.
God is always there and he is consistently orchestrating your story (Not pop up for the moment, He is there through the struggle)

God gives us what we need not what we want (A fairy Godmother gives me whatever I request)

God’s arms are where we find peace, Joy, Love, and comfort ( I get Joy from God, not the thing I am asking him for)
