1. Use less popular hashtags on Twitter & Instagram
2. Reschedule your top Instagram or Twitter posts especially if they generated a ton of engagement the first time
3. Get funny, creative and all around crazy with your Facebook posts, really try and dive deep with this one.
4. Change the looks of your social media posts by switching up the text, image or creative etc.
5. Run some promotions or contest on social media to gain attention, but make sure they are less self serving and not just salesy.
6. Schedule all of your holidays posts prior to December 18 as many ecommerce shoppers tend to worry about shipping time after that, this is imperative if you are a company that does a ton of business via your website online.
7. Be very smart and use long tailed keyword phrases when setting up your Google Adwords campaigns
8. Update display ads and website with Christmas types of content and cheer!
9. Choose how you spend your money and when to stretch those dollars wide and thin

In this episode of The Ryan Holtz Show Podcast, I have my most anticipated guest yet. She goes by the name of Food For Love, but also Nora Holtz aka my wife! We chat about so many things on this podcast which is mostly surrounded by food.

We touch on Nora's passions surrounding food, business and cooking healthy and nutritional meals for her family. Nora also brings up our trip to San Sebastian, Spain which has the most Michelin star restaurants per capita in the world. Some of Nora's favourite food tv shows are Eddie Huang of Huang's world and Anthony Bourdain of Parts Unknown.

I asked Nora how a family or mom or dad could afford good food if they did not have the financial means and she just breaks it down by saying some of the simplest and best ingredients can be found at your local dollar store. We also chat about education and not being lazy, but rather to make the choice to live a better life and make better food for your family. It is about taking pride, no matter what and no matter the excuse!

I wanted to have Michelle on the show because of her presence on social media and to tell her journey of how she went from $1200 to 2 Retail fashion boutiques in Edmonton and Athabasca Alberta.

I think the whole story is extremely inspirational and really valuable to people who are out there looking to start their own business. It is really magnificent!
