Who am I to start a podcast in my own name? That too, about building a personal brand! There are so many other people, more talented and famous than I am. What if you will find out one day that I am a fraud, and the things I say in the podcast, the ideas, vision, personal branding tips, businesses, and entrepreneurial advice and the guests, are not genuine! 

The 1000 plus downloads we have so far, the messages I get, and the business inquiries, are flukes. I am not the one they are looking for,  They all are going to find out one day that this is not real, I am not capable of doing what I say I am and I won’t be able to live up to the expectations of everyone. I will be a failure again.

Once upon a time, Hanuman, a character in Hindu mythology, was cursed and forgot who he was. Until lord Ram reminded him of his powers. Then Hanuman went ahead and put stones on the sea, with lord Ram’s name written on the stones. For everyone’s surprise, the stones didn’t drown, instead, they floated in the water and created a bridge that the team desperately needed, to go across the sea and win the battle against Ravana. 

The moral of the story is with faith, actions with good intentions, and the awareness of a personal brand, we can create the magic we meant to create in this world.

We are the Hanumans of the 21st century, seldom anyone reminds us of our powers and we rarely believe in them. This podcast is a weekly reminder you better believe that you are a personal brand.

But I feel guilty” to answer it, Ekart says, “maybe God doesn’t want us to go to church, or identify with any group or religion.” And for the same reference, Oprah says, “God doesn’t want us to serve him only on Sunday at 11 am service.” God doesn’t want me to identify with any name or image of him. Ego wants us to create an image of ourselves and identify with it. I don’t know who I am, and it's liberating.

There are two big questions to deal with now,

1. If I only observe my thoughts then where does the manifestation exist? For example, how is “Think and Grow Rich” possible?

2. The incidents, in our lives, are merely co-incidents?

My success, failures, any titles I have or don’t have, relationships, career, past or future, all of these are ego. Who am I then?

To start a  business,  online or retail will sell whatever first thing is you gotta analyze the risk.  Make sure you know the number. You know the risks.  The other thing is, you have to be legal to work in the US.  Like you have to have either citizenship or a green card or any working visa. 
It depends upon the state. The first thing is the registrations. The business registration locally, you have to pay the fee and taxes according to the state rules.  And have your business name and registered it.

Even if it's an online business you need to have physical address.

I noticed there are three categories of people in quarantine right now, 

1. working from home for other 
2. Looking to work from home
3. Have no idea what to do with their time and just share memes on social media.

I believe you belong to the second category and looking to work from home. Disclaimer, you can make money from home, but it won’t be easy and immediate, it will take time and effort, like any other work.

Online is not this mystical world where you need to find a secret, or a key or a password, that can make you rich magically. The online world is just like the non-online world. I don’t wanna call it, the online world and the real world, because online is as real as non-online. Matter of fact, you have to be more real and better at communication in the virtual world, because here people can't see you in real-time like you can’t see me at this moment, but as online dwellers, we gotta develop trust and build relationships. The point is, it takes equal, if not more hard work, passion and communication skills to succeed in the online space. To get a quick glance at how the online world operates and how it’s similar to the non-online world you wanna watch the movie, Ralph Breaks the Internet, it has a sneak peek of the virtual world we live in. Oh! my god talking about the movie is making me wanna watch it again, for maybe the fifth time, it’s that good. Highly recommended. 

It was rather a longer intro than we usually do because I needed to get it out of my chest because there is so much bullshit going around in the name of online business and making money from home.

There are basically 2 ways you can make money from home if you can read, write and speak English, even if you can’t then you can have an interpreter, and sell your skills. Those two methods are,

1. Virtual Assistant jobs
2. Online businesses 

And there are numerous subdivisions to both the sections. Let’s talk about virtual assistance first,
