Jesus goes to the wedding party in Cana and makes wine, a sign, and it manifests His glory. Then Jesus goes to his own wedding party in Jerusalem and comes to His bride, and she's a harlot. Yet, He still makes wine; but this time, it's not a sign, it's the substance.

We want Law because we find Love to be terrifying. But God doesn't seem all the concerned with protecting us from the possibility of making a bad choice. And maybe that's because all those bad choices only serve to reveal His one good choice.

If Jesus were to appear and do some miraculous sign to manifest His glory so everyone would believe, what would you expect? Well, 2000 years ago, at a party in Cana, Jesus provides the booze: amazing blood red wine.

Author and counselor Sharon Hersh shares a beautiful story of her broken road. At her darkest hour, God tells her, "When you feel unwanted, instead of achieving, will you seek my affection? When you feel weary can you risk laying down your head? And when you feel unworthy, will you believe you are my Bride?"

If you want to change the world, you have to know the Word, the Logos, the Rhthym--and you have to be close enough to folks so they can hear your heartbeat. It's called making disciples, and it's how Jesus invades the world.

What would your life look like if there was no one keeping score? "All is forgiven." No losers, but no winners either. There is no better news than that. There is also no news more offensive than that.

Music is math, logic, and reasonable, but the best dancers aren't necessarily logicians who have comprehended the music, instead, the music has comprehended them. Jesus compels you to start with the most basic steps you know, and soon you will begin to move in sync with the rhythm of the Lord of the Dance.

If you think religion is unreasonable, it's probably because you've never met Reason. Even as an atheist or agnostic, at some point, you must have faith—even if it's faith in reason. Maybe you've worshipped reason but didn't know who He is. John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word—the Logos—the Reason..."

Imagine coming to church for the wrong reasons--with wrong motives. Truthfully, most of us can't imagine anything else. But maybe God begins with bad motives, and when we finally offer up those bad motives we find his grace. Surrender your motives and go through the motions. Offer your fake kiss and pray for a real kiss.

Do you ever feel puzzled by church? If you say Jesus is Lord, you're part of the puzzle, and the puzzle is incomplete without you like a puzzle is incomplete without the last piece. For you not only have a piece of the puzzle, you are a piece of Him—you are a member of His body.
