God declares that the seed of the woman will crush the head of the snake. The seed of the snake is lies and the seed of the woman is the Truth—who is Jesus, who is the End. When we believe the End, it changes every moment of the ride. No longer “stuck in a moment” we can laugh loud.

There is a flaming sword that guards the way to the tree of life. It is Judgment. Whenever we’re cut, the motives and the purpose of the one holding the knife make a tremendous difference. We must all be cut to re-enter the garden. But the flaming sword is good. The Flaming sword is Jesus.

God dreams of making Adam (humanity… all humanity) in His Image. Does He get His Dream? Are our dreams of Hell stronger that His dreams of Heaven? Why are we so threatened by God’s Dream?

We are all ashamed of our nakedness, because we are “naked” of Love. In Christ God covers us with His Love and finishes us in His Image. When God covers Adam he covers all humanity with His Love through the sacrifice of Christ.

In the Garden, the Woman is deceived and through her transgression, death is born. But Adam still names her Eve, the Mother of the Living. It's the very last thing we would expect. It's grace.

If it seems like it's a God-damned world, that because it is. But it is for our sake that he has made this world a living hell.
