Welcome back for the SIXTH episode, guys! In this episode we talk to local teacher and coach, Gretta Ehret, who was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at the age of 32. In spite of this diagnosis, two years later Gretta continues to live each day with the FULL intention to keep healing, to Dream Crazy, and to allow herself to be completely human (cancer and all). We discuss what is possibly the most compelling story of coaching I have ever heard: Gretta's big District 1 Class 2A title game where she lead her girls at Merion Mercy to a win in overtime, moments after being discharged from the hospital with a fever of 101 degrees due to a bad reaction from chemotherapy. Gretta pleaded her way out of the doctor's preferred course of treatment in order to watch her team win. In this entire episode we discuss so many of life's lessons and what cancer has taught Gretta, as well as what it means to show up with grace every day. If there's ever a time to grab your tissues and tune in for the most inspiring and beautiful conversation, it's now!
