Pete leads Tommy and Kyle on a journey of discovery... adventure... and learning a bit about themselves in the doing.
But first, we talk about Bones And All, Monster High the Movie and its odd similarity to Netflix's entry into the space, a quick review of Darby and the Dead, and toss in a dash of "what would you do if you were Henry Cavill today?"
From there, Skinamarink is in the trailer rundown, so look out for that. The Diabolical is on deck for games, and we have a Very Important Announcement about the future of this very show.

Kyle Olson leads the crew of Krissy Lenz and Pete Wright on a journey through holiday entertainment, a Quentin Tarantino first-time-teen-viewer watchlist, and a list of movies of superstar pair-ups that didn't fly.
But first, Krissy watched Spirited! on Apple TV+! Pete's still crowing about The Peripheral on Amazon Primeand Rings of Power on Amazon Prime. Kyle amplifies The Council of Elrond Podcast as a way to listen to Brits help us remember what's going on as we watch fake things throwing things at fake things.

Mandy Kaplan leads her march across the alps with Tommy Metz and Krissy Lenz on board. This week: trailers, a Game of Logs, and a list of films designed to give you hope.
First up, Tommy's finally watching Reboot on Hulu and likes it. Krissy is watching The Rock because you just can't get enough of the Rock as a tourist attraction. Mandy's in on White Lotus Season 2 on HBO, but is kind of distracted by The Vow, on HBO as well, also with a season 2.
Did you hear? Jason Blum and James Wan are talking about tying the knot as studios, making a powerful indie horror house.

Pete Wright heads up Kyle Olson and Tommy Metz for a chat through Saturdays and Matinées, the works of William Gibson, kitcheny and mystery trailers, The Diabolical, and lists of movies we'll never watch again.
Andor is over and Kyle has things to say, like, we're still trying to convince Tommy that he should actually watch it. In the mean time, Tommy has been watching Barbarian and is both completely convinced that the script was unsalable to studios while also being a fantastic finished film. Pete waxes lovingly about William Gibson's work as a lead-in to a conversation on Amazon's adaptation of The Peripheral, which is, so far, so good.
We've got a game of The Diabolical that has the gents doing... accents(?). But first up, Trailers!

What Else Do We Love Today?
Tommy Metz III leads Krissy Lenz and Mandy Kaplan on a matinée tour of movies and television magic that ends in a recast-a-thon of movies that definitely should be musicals.
But first, the watchlist. Tommy and Mandy finished The Patient and loved it. Smile is middling fare according to Krissy, but she's an island on who's seen it on the panel just yet. We have a significant detour around Don't Worry Darling which you might even classify as "gossip corner."
THE LIST!
This week the team brings a list of movies which really and truly should be adapted into musicals. But they have a twist! They were challenged not only to bring the movie, but to bring a principal cast member and the first song. Which, of course, they overdid. It's awesome.

The indomitable Kyle Olson leads Tommy Metz III and Pete Wright for a tour through franchises, trailers with numbers after them (mostly), and a game of pitches that leaves them in stitches!
But first, Tommy's new short Static is in full festival mode, so he isn't watching much other than other people's horrors. Pete's watching Andor pretty hard because it's fantastic, and we haven't talked enough about it on this show week to week.
It was a big franchise trailer week, though, so in light of Creed and John Wick successors, Kyle picked an indie doc. Not so on brand after all?
THE LIST!
This week's list brings you movies that are part of multiple-adaptation francises. Was it a book, opera, comic, or something else before it was a movie? Then it's fair game for this list.

Mandy Kaplan leads a merry band of Krissy Lenz and Pete Wright on a journey through holiday musical magic, a game of titles, and a list of iconic movie character names!
We start with an ode to Angela Lansbury, whose death this week marks the end of an era for a Dame expert at pivoting her career with the times.
Mandy's still hate-watching stuff, but mostly it's just all football. Krissy checked out Hocus Pocus 2 and as a result, is now calling for a full Midleraissance. Pete is watching sexist and homophobic car TV from 20 years ago but MOSTLY wants to talk about the meta finale of season 1 of She-Hulk, which Mandy and Krissy have not seen. It's pretty one-sided, but hopefully, you listen and want to check it out yourself because it's pretty fun.
THE LIST!
This week's list is a celebration of great character names. What makes a name stick in your head? What makes it something you repeat? What makes the character enter the public consciousness?
